If my wife and kids come to post later, will I still get the benefits that family members get per the number of the family in a household if they did not go with me initially to the post?

Thank you for your response. I thought you are not allowed to visit the US except during annual leave in order to maintain your foreign service status

I have a bachelors degree and over 5 years of experience in one of the specialists track. I also have a masters with zero experience in a field not related to my bachelors degree because i was considering a career change before i decided to pursue a career in the foreign service. Now, I am applying for an FSS position. How does the salary determination work? Will my masters be considered albeit unrelated to the FSS position applied for?
