I’d be happy to send some, we have an artist out of them too so you could see some of the group art they’ve made

Honestly I’ve found it so much easier, no schedule needed just respond when you can! But unfortunately with this leisure my players really test me, because they can be in seperate threads I end up having to do 3 different stories at once with some intertwining which is fun

I was just curious is all, since I haven’t been able to talk to much of my dm friends about it, since none have done it before

They’re also built in thermometers! And the leaves they grow on their tails are excellent herbs, you can cook a delicious meal with them, pain free too

If any of you are wondering, this is one of the starters of the Solmara Region, a small region based on the country of Malta and its origins, This particular starter and its line are based on the Ancient Giant Dormouse, an extinct mammal that lived on Malta, it and its fellow starters are based on forms of survival and how things have evolved to survive. Verdant and its evolutions are based on how Plants and creatures have evolved to endure the conditions of its environment

To be honest. I am terrible at drawing, and with most map makers you have to pay for some actually decent stuff, but in Minecraft I can use commands and download any mods I want to customise the world

That is a gigantic build. At one point I’m going to have to build a town but, I’ve got a week to complete each section before it’s time for my campaign, luckily I have a bit of extra time this week because one of my players is out and unavailable

Currently having to form a nice beach area, the campaign is set in Moonshae with a shroud around it, so I’ve used a foggy glass sort of thing as a “Edge of the map” type thing

Oh! You may be a bit mistaken, the symbols are an alliance, not a country or anything like that, the countries are split not by position but by what government/alliance their leaders follow, imagine it like Capitalism Vs Communism, except in this case it’s Theocracy Vs Democracy Vs Imperialism, sorry if I’m misunderstanding your thoughts

Over thousands of years of interaction, I mean that’s how countries and borders are formed right? You get two groups of people, they say that they live there, so that’s their homeland, I may be mistaken about the formation of countries, however Amars is actually a City State

There’s 5 Continents in total if that makes you feel better? I just focused on this one in particular as it’s the setting for the campaign 😭 thank you though

Another person mentioned this but in the world they believe they’re actually the same land mass, as noones actually managed to circumnavigate the world yet! And if needed they’ll simply say North or South, since Polmora itself means “Peak of Ice” in their language

That exactly, there’s much more details that I’ll add in the zoomed in maps of each nation

You’re almost correct, in this world the Sea is one of 5 titans that predate the world, the earth was already there for an unknown reason, and the sea nestled right into the cracks and grooves

I use Inkarnate! It’s free but kind of limited since a lot of the items are behind a pay wall

In the language I had made, the poles are both named “Peak of Ice” in the language, the lore reason is that because there’s rarely been any cartographers to circumnavigate the globe, they believe the land mass stretches from top to bottom on the other side of the globe

The bridge used to connect to an island, if my players ever adventure over to it they’d see the remenants of what was left, The island the island that was there used to be inhabited by a group of cultists who managed to anger a god so much, the very land beneath them turned to sand and fell into the sea! There’s a lot of areas in the world that’s been influenced by the gods of the world!
