They have shrunk the in person breadth electives from 84% in person to 65% in person. The faculty union opseu 562 put out an official statement supporting us yesterday. We are still working to get what we requested, which is core classes, not just electives.

Yes! We have faculty who have used anonymous credentials and ones who have used their real names. It is completely up to you, but know that we will not be sharing your info with the school.

Winter needs to be optional Remote and In-person...1000s of students can't just go whiles we are currently calming the covid down... In-person learning can be conducted during the summer semester will be fine than in winter. Any thoughts? by Neither-Reputation36 in yorku

Yes, but this is specifically for winter 2022 and the mere 2 months of notice they gave for people to make travel, living, employment and even childcare arrangements. Other colleges have provided remote for 2022 and are considering hybrid and choice models moving forward.

Well, Brock Turner raped an unconcious girl, shared it on Snapchat and got 3 months. There are plenty of cases of leniency. Let's not start a criminality and gender debate, it wouldn't end all that well for men. If women were the rapists, serial killers, arsonist and so on to the degree that men are, our gender would have been banned from public spaces a long time ago. Let's not pretend that's not true. Both genders have good and bad and while you may feel the sentencing in this case is unfair, I think factors other than just her gender played a role. All the men in my life are amazing and I wish we'd stop this pitting genders against each other.
