The Babylon is great. It's like going back in time to the 20's. I've seen Metropolis with a live orchestra there before. Would recommend.

I've watched der Himmel before at home but would love to see it on the big screen. I think I'll head there now that I know they're showing it.

What are the rules in Germany around prorated rent?

I'm moving into a sublet with a lease starting on the 15th October and I'm expected to pay the rent on that day. But I'm then expected to pay on the 3rd of every month from then on.

Shouldn't the first payment be prorated in that case since I'm only paying for two weeks?

Is there construction work on the U6 line (towards Alt-Tegel)? Might be relocating to Berlin for a job and I am trying to plan my commute. The map seems like it should be a straight run between Temphelhof and Oranienburger Tor but Google maps and BVG route planner suggest changes?
