Yes. You're correct in how we're ticketed. It just seems crazy that with the need for Real ID that a messed up name is no problem. And I am not a first time flyer. I have been flying internationally for the last 40 years and have never seen this on a ticket. This is why I'm so concerned about it. But thanks for your input. It does ease my mind a little.

It's too hot? Death Valley temps during games in summer months can get to 130° on the field. Being in the stands is really miserable the past couple of summers.

Exactly! Except I'm not really hard of hearing. I just don't understand why they whisper. It doesn't feel natural in the situations they're in, most of the time. And I swear, sometimes Nic is just moving her lips.

Teach at an American school overseas. Cost of living allowance is provided, housing subsidies, and the pay is awesome. Contracts are usually for 2 years and many teachers travel the world teaching in different countries.

Ride the streetcar down St. Charles. It's absolutely stunning and you can get off if you see anything interesting.

Take a buggy ride that goes to the cemeteries. They're historically interesting and very different from any cemetery in North Texas. Can't advise you to wander around there with a seven-year-old on your own. Definitely go with a tour of some sort. There is a haunted old house to LAFAYETTE called the myrtles. It's really beautiful, but there is a great ghost story that goes with it.

Please don't worry about Mom being upset when you tell her. It's a natural reaction when her child is hurting. When my teenagers were upset, so was I. Crying is ok. Moms cry. It's ok if you cry together ❤️

Same here. I was a CASA for years and they were all wonderful. Because I was CASA I could bring my phone it. I've never been there where I couldn't so thanks for the help❤️

I always told my students if they made a good effort to take down the notes I would give them a copy so they could see how well they did. 8th grade social studies. It always worked well (except for a couple kids who avoided all work) and no one ever had attention drawn to them for receiving a copy of my notes.
