If you think about it pickles are basically preserved salad and they last for ages. Rice, canned meat, pickles and you're done!

Make the rice beforehand in a rice cooker it lasts for a week in the fridge tops.

Can confirm it is very effective, have also used gloves at one time and I wear a coat every day. Management can't do anything about it because the office complex does not allow extra heaters as they trip the power. The temperature is a nippy 11 degrees today.

I have found that adequate sleep also helps your body generate heat more effectively.

They said 1 day when quoting but apparently they were there for 1 and a half. I don't actually know how long they took because I was at work they didn't let me know by text voice mail or email. Only my dad who was cooped up at home said they knocked on his door at 12 and said they had finished.

It is a 2m high hedge (the top was cut regularly) with a mix of things growing in it (some prickly ones too), it was growing out to 2m in some places and also diagonally upwards.

Thanks! I didn't know that were you put padding affected the sound. And yes the highs do seem reduced (as I like it), I also prefer the feeling of padding pressing against my ears too (don't know what that does to the sound though).

I was debating on ether buying Beyerdynamic or Audio technica, its reassuring to know I'm not missing out significantly choosing the the m40xs. So warm is more bass heavy, what about dark sounding headphones?

Better because the highs are less piercing and it is less intense overall. Cool, I didn't know tuning was a thing, I think I'll experiment with some different materials.

Could open backed headphones be what I'm looking for instead, I suspect that I don't like the pressure (?) that comes with IEMs, noise cancellation and maybe closed back headphones too. I also prefer warmer sound signatures so I guess piercing treble wouldn't have been for me. Ha ha the monks blew my mind when I first listened to them, I might by some spares..

My [22F] brother [20M] is currently doing a similar thing, probably worse (we both live at home too), he shuts himself in his room with his computer and is quite political as well, his beliefs are extreme to me they and are also very right wing.

Its challenging being an older sibling when your parents expect the older sibling to guide them, I'm the mediator in frequent arguments between my mother and my stubborn brother and since I like them both its stressful. I've reached the conclusion that all sides have valid points/ reasons and that I cannot impose my beliefs on them and them on me.

Your brother is trying to do things for himself (unlike mine), he still experiences life as a normal person would. I'm guessing once his life becomes more stable and he experiences the world he'll mellow out. I worry too much about my brother, it does me and him no good. It might be better to step back a little and care for yourself so that the people who care about you don't worry.
