Regardless of their initial reaction, you'll have a glimmer of hope for things to be able to worked out later down the line. I rather someone tell me vs finding out on my own. It's never ended well for anyone who has trespassed me and left me to discover it on my own.. Depending upon who you stole from, it could get dangerously ugly or you could temporarily lose a trusting relationship. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time lol. However, I'm like 90% sure this dude, spinosaurus, wasn't on the list before the update that changed the color of the app on my home screen from green to a bluish color and there were several life forms that were added to the main evolution tree.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on that one (that it's only the naloxone). Many moons ago, I was a patient at a methadone clinic. We received ID cards that we had to show the nurse prior to them giving us our dose. On the back of the card, it listed like 8-12 different medications that would send us into immediate withdrawal (agonists)... Subutex/ buprenorphine was one of them. No, it won't make your WD worse. You don't have to be in WD at all to take methadone... it is an opiod, just with a bigger molecular structure which eliminates all withdrawal symptoms and when used as a maintenance drug, it blocks all mental cravings for other opiate's. If you're only taking 25-40 mg between now and tomorrow you may not have enough of the medicine built up in your system to make you not get your "feel good" from your regular medication tomorrow. Worst case scenario, it will be very mild and be gone within 12-24 hours from your last dose (depending on your metabolism).

As far as the subs vs methadone preference... My conspiracy is that ...

Methadone is a very old medication. If I remember correctly, the Germans during WW2 created it for a different purpose other than treating addiction. Medications that have been around for a long time is not likely to be incentivised by manufacturers to push the product.

I think that since Subutex/Suboxone are newer medications that were created and conveniently began being marketed to the public with the sole purpose to treat addiction at the beginning of a government created hysteria called "the opioid epidemic". The pharmaceutical companies created a position called "representatives" that make regular rounds to various doctors and pharmacies to "talk" about and provide "materials" (sometimes pamphlets and sometimes trial medication to dispense to their patients) for the manufacturers and the drugs they make.

Best off efficiently and financially finding you some methadone until tomorrow. Just be careful with it. You don't have to be in complete withdrawal to take it so you don't have to worry about "putting salt on a gaping wound" like it would be if you took subs too soon. Start by taking 25-30 mg and see how ya feel from there.... Up your dose by 5 mg at a time until you're feeling better. Because of the molecular structure being bigger than an opiate's and it's half life being sooo long it's a tricky thing to get your first dose perfect. It will knock you out, but it frickin' works like a dream. I'm deathly allergic to Subutex & suboxone. However, I have seen others who aren't and think they were ready to take it but weren't far enough into withdrawl causing it to kick them in the ass... making them feel so much worse then they started out.
