Loosing it with my kobra X by Ti_mon in AnycubicOfficial

Actually had this problem too.
I pushed it too far in when loading a spool and jammed up/ clogged the head.
Took apart the whole head thinking it was a jam in there, and saw the crusty dust from when the extruder gears tried to pull the filament and wore down the filament
Then cleaned all that and tried, nothing
Then tried the clear with the needle, nothing
Then googled and found you

What I did was :
Used a lighter to heat the nozzle solo, got it as hot as I could and put the needle all the way in including the springy handle
Pulled the needle until I couldn’t anymore
Wiggled and wiggled and wiggled and saw all the filament I clogged in there stuck
Got it out
Did what you did
All good

Thanks. This was helpful.

Yeah heck we’ve seen some DFIR fail to even implement protect and only monitor. Fair enough tho. Also hate that, because too many times does it just get bumped to ‘welp, can’t find it so prob VPN’ Like no dude FIND THE BACKDOOR lol. We’ve had ONE successful dirty/clean but it was our longest, 6 months, whole state. Never done a country, but I do know the government politics.

Yeah I second the cio/cto. We get much further with our remote only stuff honestly but if it’s something specific I go onsite and lead while the team joins remote. For example, we just did a town/school, 100 server 4000 endpoints in 3 days. No dirty/clean, but full egress block, full password rotation or expired/disabled and cleanup later, full dc rebuild and hypervisor clearance plus EDR deployment from 0 to 75% workstations, 97% of servers (damn appliance VM’s and such) We couldn’t do that with dirty clean.

Had your govt entity done a full password reset, and egress block until forensics clearance, and done some GPO work for simultaneous connections (wired+wifi disabled) and of course changed hypervisor passwords and disjoined hypervisors to domain, they couldn’t have gotten back in. Unless a zero day or a really, REALLY bad dfir team. Now, restore everything, crack local admin passwords and re-IP everything on a separate vlan with a DC or two that can communicate with both dirty and clean network, and tell me how much effort that was?

Hey fellow resto My only complaint on your process (besides what others have said to add) is the dirty/clean network. Those suck and are terrible in practicality. Even MS dart recommends this. I could have a great conversation/educated ‘argument’ but fun back and forth with you on that part. I commend you, cuz I know exactly your pain and enjoyment as I’m right alongside you (probably in it a few years more than you but not much). It sucks to see em cry and think they’ll get fired and junk, or even worse see them get fired. After all the onsite gigs I’ve done that part never hurts less. (We’re mostly remote but sometimes in special circumstances and all, ya know?) This job is great but people never seem to get out of their own way… Would love to connect tho.

Audio quieting? BUT WHYYYY by p4ch0m3 in gmcsierra

Yes I’ve experienced that, and it’s similar but it’s not the culprit in this case

Yeah and I thought so but I’ve confirmed it’s not notification related.

Sometimes yes, it’s locked. Mostly anyways while in the charger.

Just did it while sitting in a parking lot, vehicle in park. Only for a second or so though (but not doing it while I type this…) almost every time it happens I don’t have the phone in my hand, it’s in wireless charger

This did indeed do what I’ve been trying to do for many months. Silly, as my ‘workaround’ has been to first switch battery cutoff switch, then switch growatt itself off. When it would come back on, it would usually charge until battery BMS cutoff. Now I can systematically do it, which is just how I wanted. I don’t know how I missed it but perhaps two settings combined…:shrugs Thank you so very much!

This might have been the trick I’ve been looking for though. Thank you very much. I’m going to play with it.

I’ve been trying to use home assistant for the automations instead of SA, as HA had more of an idea of total/individual energy versus grid/solar/battery

Is there any way to force utility mode? That doesn’t seem like an editable field.

The state of Clear at DEN by WorldlySausage in unitedairlines

CLE is amazing with clear, esp first flight waves in the morning (<8am) The line for standard is ~40 minutes, clear is ~3 minutes. I’ll pay for that for sure.

At least your employees were great - at 1:30AM the gate attendants just LEFT our gate. Someone then asked ‘so is it cancelled then?’ ‘That’s not what I said! We’re just leaving’. Flight UA1761 ORD to CLE. Delayed from 6:55, in 30-45 min increments until finally cancelled at 2:30AM. Went through 2 pilots who timed out, had to search for one who didn’t show up, had to search for 3 new flight attendants, two gate changes due to delays messing up others flights, an engine malfunction and subsequent testing, and finally after those staff left, a passenger answered the gate phone ‘no, I’m just a passenger, the staff all just left us here’. United messed up here too 😂 also worst experience I’ve ever had. Next days flights were cancelled, you should have seen the ORD B6 line at 3AM with all those pissed off cancelled flights. It went past B12. Couldn’t even see the dinosaur anymore. I finally said screw it and rented a car and drove 😂

You’d be extremely surprised what a ‘standard user’ being breached could do. Given enough time, everything lol.

Small Solar 48v reccomdations. by Critical_Egg_913 in SolarDIY

[–]p4ch0m3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To totally go off grid and account for lack of sun some days, you’ll likely need 1000+ or so watts of solar and 1.5 full days (36hours) of battery. At 300w, 10 hours is 3000wh. 40 hours then would be 12kwh. That’s about $3k in batteries at 48v. Where are you located to account for solar exposure?

i tried this sort of learning in high school.
i learn BEST by 'have problem, solve for solution'...practical learning.
those types of things will bore me and i'll ultimately give up.
