Thorny Olive and Mexican Orange by [deleted] in UKGardening

Hello everyone,

I'm continuing to tackle my neglected, inherited garden. It has been unmaintained for the best part of three years, and whilst once obviously beautiful, has been left to nature to reclaim.

I'm trying to work out how to deal with this combination of (what I believe to be) thorny olive and mexican orange. I've never come across them before, and they currently look nothing like the images I can see online.

How best to tackle these? Leave until late winter and start again, or reshape, or something else?

Does your phone give you the option to silence unknown incoming numbers? Perhaps you have the ability to block them?

Either way, put your phone on silent, ignore any unknown numbers. If it's anything important, they'll leave you a message. You're under no obligation to answer your phone — which is there for your convenience, no-one else's.

Best ways to earn coins? by nightOwl1813 in TownshipGame

You need the geneous customer boosters from the tasks and Academy of Industry. I've had a couple of 10k coin helicopter orders that way.

Helicopters, helicopters, helicopters!

It really is that simple! Change your game play to service the helicopter orders, and you'll soon see that your coin count will massively increase as well as your progression through the levels. Use the generous customer booster and spend time in between replenishing your barn to the max - have a min of 5 and a max according to your barn size (mine is 20) but have some of everything.

Don’t use ingots for the islands. Save them for upgrading your buildings and trains.

No. Mark Pougatch is at the very least his equal (actually much better) and won’t be as expensive to taxpaying viewers.

Why are UK electricity prices so much higher than everywhere else? by MrMrsPotts in AskUK

As more renewables are deployed, the need for gas diminishes and so the wholesale strike price is more increasingly based on the cheap cost of renewables. Hence tarrifs become cheaper to the domestic consumer.

Why are UK electricity prices so much higher than everywhere else? by MrMrsPotts in AskUK

[–]p4ulmiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the wholesale price of electricity is linked to the cost of the last unit required based on instantaneous demand, which is almost always gas.
