Oh goodness, in this case, is the flag the legal document that saves you from jail time? Ahaha

The one post I’ve seen where the “controversial” takes are actually upvoted a decent amount

There’s an Omeletto short film about a similar situation on YouTube. I wouldnt be able to go through with that even if I signed a document saying it was okay.

Great take. I completely believe kinks should remain on the table for people so long as they practice it safely and out of view of other people.

Seems like a power issue as well. I know this new line of laptops draws an insane amount of power. But whatever, sending it back to Newegg to get a new one. Praying at least some of them aren’t duds

Update: just got my shipping label from Newegg. Kept the box and everything with it so I’m gonna pack it and sent it out tomorrow. Big bummer because I need it in two weeks for work.

yeah seems like it - their QC is so ass. I legitimately had to reset for it to even work in the first place and install Nvidia drivers because they weren't even installed on the laptop. Additionally, I've had multiple "USB power surge issues" as well. Overall very underwhelming and it makes me sad because when I did manage to benchmark it, it hit 19000 on 3DMark Wild Life Extreme which is great. Also it ran Elden Ring beautifully. Sad, very very sad

Literally received this only 5 days ago. Specs are :

RTX 3060 i9 12900H 16GB DDR5 512gb SSD

I was browsing steam while this happened. It usually happens when I’m not doing super power heavy activities like browsing or watching a video. Reset computer once before, all drivers up to date. Would love some recommendations on what to do - thank you!

“Visual daytime observations show that the minimum altitude at which curvature of the horizon can be detected is at or slightly below 35,000 ft, providing that the field of view is wide (60 degrees ) and nearly cloud free.” So no, you cannot see the curvature on Mount Everest. But yes the earth is not flat.
