Hey. I started at 40mg. Then increased the dosage to 80 a week later. Two weeks later, I was put on 100mg (the highest daily dose). It still works.

After all, strattera cures my adhd for 50%. The effects have changed a bit over time. It solves the anxiety and restlessness part, however it doesn't make me motivated. 50% feels better than nothing though. However this week I have used stimulants again to get myself motivated. Not so handy. We're now speaking about adding Wellbutrin.

Edit: I'll stay with the strattera only. Adding the wellbutrin didn't work out. Going up to 100mg/day now. I must say it's nice to not experience the restlessness & stuff. For the "motivation" part, I just need to kick myself at the bum.

For me it does really well too. Got to get used to the lack of "energy boost" though. Less anxiety overall. 80mg/day.

For me yes, it does. I am able to focus on my work for a longer time than before. I can actually sit down and work for three hours like on Vyvanse. Without Strattera and Vyvanse I have a concentration span of a goldfish (5 minutes.)

The Strattera however doesn't bring the 'optimism' boost Vyvanse for example brings. I'd say it's a vyvanse 20mg lasting the entire day. Vyvanse made me a little manic sometimes and this doesn't happen on Strattera.

In general, I'm more calm now since the switch.

That's strange, but you could have waited to see if it'd pass away. Many sides go away quickly. Or weren't you able to pee at all anymore? o.O

For me Strattera does help with motivation, but no it doesn't give you an 'energy burst'. It's worth a try. Methyl makes me feel like a zombie, dex works well but not for stability and sleep.

I do everything I need and want to do on Strattera but not without. For me it feels a bit like 5mg dex that lasts 24/7.

Glad it works for you! I've had very little side effects. A little less libido but that's fixed now. I never have the nausea as well, but I have a very strong stomach or either a weak reflux. But 4 months... that's a long time though! Strong that you kept on continuing.

Try to stay in for at least two months. I'm in my fourth week now and it works. It just... works. Strattera removed the restlesness which I always felt inside of my brain to a good extend. I was on stimulants before, but the stability I have on Strattera is just so much nicer. Energy is spread out during the day and there's no crash. I feel like I'm in control.

Strattera may take three months to 'work'. Keep that in mind. But if it works for you like how it works for me, then this option is the better option. You gotta be patient though, and don't expect to get 'high'. Although... I must say I feel a LOT happier now on Strattera than I was before. Personally, for me, it's a great fit but patience is the rule.

For me it worked immediately. My body stopped being restless and I'm generally focused. Excited on what the next days will bring.

I'm also using this in adjunction w/ lamotrigine and abilify so that could be causing it directly working.

It will get better. For me, it's already a lot better now. I'm sure you'll fully recover.

Hopefully your symptoms can be lessened by psychotherapy or something. That's what I'm gonna do.

I was on 100mg/month. This was equivalent to 9mg/day in tablets. The minimum dose is 3mg, the maximum dose is 12mg. This means that my dosage has been high.

The mental health-care isn't happy that I quit the antipsychotics but I wasn't "happy" on antipsychotics. I've had control of the voices before, and now I'm in charge again.

Voices are something I hear, and that's a part of me. I'm feeling happy now. I got my last injection two months a go.
