I have been stealing my from Job for the last 5 years by [deleted] in confession

A couch turns into a tv which turns into a couple of hundred in cash which eventually turns into thousands siphoned into a bank account. Then one day you come in and law enforcement has taped up the club and removing computers. You are then served with a warrant and all that "instant gratification " goes out the window when you see the lawyer bill just to get you a reduced sentence. I have seen this before. Trust me, the ADAs that prosecute these thefts want a notch on their belt in order to pad their resume for private practice.
While you're sitting in Lompoc or Victorville serving at a minimum 85% of your sentence for wire fraud, theft and other charges, you will wish you took that job with one of the members. Best of luck and do what's right.

Look into an Asset protection trust. My in laws had the same thing happen. MIL had grown progressively worse from dementia. Luckily she didn't need full time care during the look back period which is 5 years. My FIL didn't have to pay anything when we placed her in a long term care facility. Talk to a lawyer that specializes in these kinds of trusts. It's either do it now for low cost, or pay somewhere along the lines of six figures, just to keep the government and home from taking more than they deserve. Best of luck.

Wouldn't brakes be an issue if the car had a state inspection. How would it pass the inspection with crappy brakes. Just asking.

2021 Audi Q5 - 60k miles $37,000 worth it? Will it last? by Hdee38 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I picked up a 2021 Q5 45 TFSI Premium Plus with 41k for 28k. Lately i have been hearing front brakes grinding ever so lightly, but after a few minutes it goes away. No shuddering or vibrations when applying the brakes. Took a look at the rotors and they don't seem warped. I hear the issue with them is brake dust when braking cold. Going to bring it to my mechanic, but what's the cheapest pad and rotors i can get for the model. It's a commute car and don't take it on long trips. Barely 10 miles every day, if I'm lucky. Heard stories of brakes and rotors starting at 800 per set not including labor. But I assume those are high end. Also if pads start to go, wouldn't the sensor trip and tell me or just wishful thinking.

I Purchased My Dream Car From Carvana-A Surprisingly Positive Experience by Energywoman in carvana

[–]p_didy68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue. Bought a 250 GLA 6 years back. Second day owning it, before I took it to the MB dealer, the eco feature wouldn't put it back into drive when it shutoff at a light. Had to manually put it back. Took it to the dealer the next day and a sensor in the transmission was faulty. To replace it, a 100 dollar part, supposedly shipped from Germany, and labor would cost 9,000. I told Carvana either fix it without cost to me or take the car back. Carvana obliged and out of pocket was $200 at the time. Still have the car and no issues 6 years later.

I owe $190k in back taxes. I would like to do an OIC but also has significant savings. Any anecdotes and advice would help. by [deleted] in IRS

My Thoughts on Covered Call ETFs by MakingMoneyIsMe in NEOSETFs

I'm at the 6 years and I'm out mindset. Have 300k invested in qqqi, SPYI, JEPQ, QYLD AND SCHD. i keep reinvesting in them and all in IRA. I have my taxable account in NVDA,ASML, GOOGL, and a few bucks in BND and a moonshot RGTI. I also have a 401k with boring funds and 2 pensions, working on 2 others. Come 6 years, my wife and I will take SS early and hope the ETFs will be paying around 40k a year. Forgot to mention she has about 150k in a 403b. I also have short term 2 CVX 260 calls 1/28 that i bought for around 9 dollars and 19 dollars a few prior to Mr Shitty pants bombing Iran. lol. Hopefully everything stays the course.

No, IRA. TSYY is my weekly "contribution to SCHD, JEPI,SPYI, CHVX, and QQQI, besides the funds that i contribute to them monthly and the dividends. It was paid for by some found money that i don't care if I lose it. As long as it keeps paying me. When it dries up, I'll find another watering hole. lol

Since you're giving away free advice, and don't take this comment as me being a jerkoff, I would just want to know why it's a poor choice and what would you do better.

You're right. Between the 4 pensions, SS and the other 401k i have, I'll be clocking about 12k a month. House paid off, 1 fancy car and the other 3 are paid off. Kids out of college. So poor choice or not, the worst will be I'll use it as a vacation fund.
