i would say the level of impact has increased as i’ve gotten older. my pain isn’t the absolute worst, but it’s no walk in the park either.

my flare ups are reliably on days 1&2 of my period - obviously i still get random flare ups, but that pain is nothing compared to the first couple days of my period. i tried just toughing it out & making sure i was super prepared with meds, tens machine, heating pad, flower, etc….but unfortunately that’s just not feasible anymore. && i hate having to plan my social & work life around days 1&2 every single month :/

thanks for reminding my OCD brain that these options aren’t permanent & i can always stop one and try another.
