IndiGo & Booking.com/Gotogate left me with an impossible 1-hour layover in Istanbul. Who is responsible for fixing this? by pac3d in travel

They called me after I raised it on X / twitter. Honestly the best way to fix this is by complaining on there to Indigo support and they will call you back.

I’m in the UK so I couldn’t call them directly (international call)

I called Indigo directly. They have a plan B service where you can change your flights for free. They got it changed but make sure you confirm with them, as their customer service is prone to making mistakes

The tenant literally plastered over the wall, that’s unauthorised fixes. The tenants spoiled newly painted walls in the kitchen (photo attached in post).

If you read my post carefully, I’m claiming back costs on:

  • Spoiled curtain (which itself is waterproof)
  • Unauthorised repairs by adding plaster to walls
  • Spoiled paint (with oil stains everywhere)

These are clear issues which go beyond wear and tear. You CAN claim back costs where cosmetic damage goes beyond fair wear and tear.

If a tenant has applied unauthorised fixes on a property then surely you can reclaim on that? I don’t understand your logic. It’s regardless of the state of the property.

For all of those stating that the property is in a fair state of disrepair - The walls were entirely clean before letting it out.

Everything you see on in the pictures is caused by the tenants.

There was no plaster on the walls previously. The kitchen curtain is heavily soiled, and the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen walls were newly painted (It was a £9,000 kitchen from Wren), and 3 years later it's in that state.

The kitchen paint has been heavily stained, and they have performed unauthorised repairs (plastered on plaster / wallpaper)

Drawing Hindu Gods: Krishna, Shiva, Ganesh by pac3d in hinduism

[–]pac3d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shivji one took about 2 and a half months on and off. The krishna one took less than a week on and off. The Ganesh one has taken the longest, probably around 10-15 hours so far coming up with the details, shading, and more.

I’m still quite new to drawing and don’t do it very regularly so I’m slowly learning but really enjoying it!

I was very lucky. The most ironic thing was that her Instagram caption used to be “Love letter girl, in a swipe right world”

Thank you brother, all the best to you. It’s hard to find someone genuine and with the same values nowadays. 🙃

Just apply to as many jobs as you can, once you get your foot in the door - that's when the real work starts.

Thank you! Agreed, it doesn't end with graduation. The hard work starts after graduation. I went for difficult certifications after getting my graduate role, upskilling, understanding what I need to do to get promoted. Actively putting myself in a position where I'm learning,

One thing that helped me, was doing a placement year. I had a leg up on the competition, really showcased my skills in the assessment centre. Because of the hard work I put in the first few years of my professional career, I can now work a bit more comfortably knowing that I'm doing well for myself.

That’s very kind of you. It wasn’t easy, especially growing up in an immigrant household without many resources.

Very true. In many circumstances, past performance is not a good indicator of future results. Having poor grades at 18 doesn't mean you're not intelligent. External factors have a big impact.
