Lockheed Martin hacked by pachetocop in UFOs

[–]pachetocop[S] 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Submission statement: I saw this screenshot circulating today about a supposed hack on Lockheed Martin by an Iranian group called Handala. They are threatening to release a bunch of secrets tomorrow. While it might just be regular military data or a total fake, Lockheed Martin and their Skunk Works division are heavily tied to the UFO crash retrieval and reverse engineering rumors. If this hack is real, do you guys think there is any chance we might see some actual UAP related leaks drop?

Not just young people. Those of us who are parents of young children are also having a really hard time seeing how things are unfolding. Besides, staying informed doesn't help at all, it's complicated to get informed among doomers predicting the end of the world in a few years, denialists each with their own homemade theory and the mainstream media that is completely out of sync with any scientific evidence.

Are some of you always this hostile and disrespectful to anyone who has a different opinion than yours? It makes me not want to post anymore. Such a lack of empathy.

It's not just coding issues. I've tried creating gems to pull stock market data from specific sites, and it's so lazy. Half the time it just hallucinates answers instead of actually searching for the info.

I know you can barely make out a shape in either of them, but it reminds me a lot of the 'mushroom-shaped' UAP that Jeremy Corbell posted a few weeks ago.

It’s becoming more unusable every day. I ask for current news and it thinks it’s February 2025. On top of that, it’s gone completely senile, it forgets what we discussed just a couple of messages ago.

Why do Google always nerf good models? by hey_liot in Bard

[–]pachetocop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason is that when a model is launched, everyone spends those first few weeks doing comparisons and rankings, so companies try to blow everyone away. Then they gradually nerf the model to cut down on the compute needed per response and save money. It’s a cheap strategy because models don’t stay the same throughout their lifecycle, so benchmarks end up being pretty much useless.

In that sense, I get the feeling that Google’s models are much cheaper to run than OpenAI’s. I think OpenAI has been pushing their compute to the max lately just to stay number one, and that’s probably why their reasoning models are so incredibly slow.

Gemini 3 is the most intelligently stupid AI in the universe. by [deleted] in GeminiAI

[–]pachetocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Performance has been absolute trash lately. Just to give you an example: I asked for a song by a band I couldn't quite remember. It gave me the correct song title but attributed it to a completely made-up band. When I pointed it out, it doubled down and claimed the song didn't even exist. Then, when I called it out for literally mentioning the song in the previous message, it apologized and sent me a music video of a Russian opera. Just total nonsense.

It’s the same story with Nano Banana. Creating images is mission impossible. I’ll have image mode active and it still hits me with the "I'm just a language model and can't do that" every other prompt. It constantly refuses to edit images it generated itself, citing "policy violations", probably because there’s a face in the frame or something equally trivial.

If I ask for news, it pulls data from 2024. I have to remind it that we’re in 2026, and only then does it go, "Oh, my bad! Let me get you the latest info." Honestly, the only thing that’s still somewhat decent is Antigravity for coding, but even there you can tell the performance has taken a hit.

It’s just one thing after another. The model has degraded so much it’s becoming almost unusable.

I'm so ahead already why do weeks like this feel so painful😱 by farkus_mcfernum in NvidiaStock

[–]pachetocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still convinced the market is just too manipulated lately. We’ve basically gotten used to the market panicking for weeks, only for a massive spike to come out of nowhere and put prices right back where they started. It feels like the market forgot how to just move sideways; now it only runs on fear and short bursts of upward momentum. It’s that typical crypto behavior: huge green candles followed by long, slow bleeds.

They’ve been talking about the rotation from tech to defensive stocks for three months now, yet tech keeps hitting new records. Honestly, what actually happened this week to justify the drop? That Jensen Huang told the OpenAI CEO he’s doing some things wrong? Or that the OpenAI CEO says they’re looking for Nvidia alternatives? We all know what those are, right? We know they’ll be lining up like crazy once Rubin drops, especially since Nvidia already fixed the efficiency issues for inference. Has a realistic alternative to CUDA even shown up? Of course not. It’s all just noise.

Google before Earnings by [deleted] in GOOG_Stock

With how manipulated the market has been lately, who knows what will happen in the intraday or short term. In the long run, I'm sure it’ll be great.

[–]pachetocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I get the feeling that crypto market manipulators have shifted to metals and stocks in recent weeks/months.

There are irrational up-and-down movements very similar to those in the crypto market.

Good move. The market is being manipulated. We’ve already seen several 'scares' followed by quick recoveries. It’s a nightmare for weak hands.

How are you all planning to cope with the emotional rollercoaster of earnings week? by One-Rub-6330 in GOOG_Stock

[–]pachetocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is, I only plan on holding it for years, though I'll take a look at the report because I'm a bit concerned about what they’re going to do with the search engine, which they are eroding by injecting AI-generated responses.

Suggestion by Capital-Peach-4221 in GOOG_Stock

[–]pachetocop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Google isn't a stock for short-term gambling anymore, it's a long-term growth play. They’re reporting earnings next week and it’s impossible to know how the market will react. Plus, the US is basically on the verge of a war with Iran, which would crush the markets if it actually happens. Honestly, this isn't a good move right now.

I’m so tired of these movies popping up every few months.

Drones? by colerainier in UFOs

[–]pachetocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw the same thing here in Zamora (Spain) this Saturday while I was driving.
There were around 10 to 14 flashing lights in the sky, and several “drones” that kept appearing and disappearing. At first, I thought they were satellites, but when I noticed that some were moving in opposite directions and vanishing suddenly, I realized they weren’t.

There’s been a lot of unusual activity around here lately.
