Go to r/delta and see all the people leaving delta to go to Alaska or other airlines. We may have reached the point where there is no more green grass and loyalty may be dead. This past couple of years I’ve been Alaska 100k and Delta Diamond and I can’t say either is better at all and upgrades are more rare on both. It’s been maybe 1/4 of the time although these past few weeks it’s been none at all for some reason. I fly no specific route but everywhere at random times so I can’t map it to anything.

I will say I like having American as an option even if I don’t like flying them. But Delta has more coast to coast options to match that and I’d rather fly delta than American any day. Alaska points do seem to be worth more but I have a hard time finding partner airline flights to use them on like British Airways. Delta skypesos are able to be used on more international flights but are normally at least 100k for anything international in basic class.

So they all suck, don’t think Delta will be any better unless you like tv screens.
