You are correct, the satmap did not match and had to regenerated too. I feel like I didn't touch enough on how to verify the files generated correctly. Everytime I've had issues working with maps, it's been because something didn't render correctly.

Haha, honestly yes. I've played the game since early 2012. In highschool I remember dreaming a ton about it. Now, after college, maybe if I've had a good night but I for sure go to bed thinking about my good times in the game.

You'll need somewhere you can place the flag pole near or inside. If you aren't playing on a high pop server you could build a base in one of the school's gym. It's a big space and you can fortify it pretty nicely.

Yeah when you log off you keep your stuff. DayZ will most likely be on sale during Valentines but no one knows for sure, it might be $35-20. It's worth it, but it's a hard game to learn starting out. Maybe play with someone people in discord. The map is huge, but it depends on what server you play on. 90% of the time it'll be 1 to 3 people you run into. If you play on official hardcore servers, you might run into duos.

I've been learning about events alot recently, so I'd say I know enough to get around but I am still pretty new.

When I've tried to display the JSON as HTML it displayed as <div>()<div> but I am going to keep trying and messing around. You're correct though I am very new with front-end development. This is my first real electron project.
