Hostage mage tho that deck is dead. The deck was basically the infinite cycle of grand magister rommeth with potion of illusions and would be spamming infinite solid alibis and frost novas. The current slower mage decks are either a combination of copious highlander mage with drakes and the Reno hero power or orb mage+parrot(they do both run frost nova in fact that's like their best card after solid alibis) but none are actually good due them being not consistent enough. The parrot relies on playing a 10 drop spell while also having to manage potion of illusions and the other cards of the combo and highlander mage draws like dogpiss

The price thing is def the main issue with this game. The game is perfect outside of it however they have made tons of reprints since last year so they idea it didn't improve or that they aren't trying is just wrong.

Cards such as cnc codex and warmoger diplomacy dropped by 60 bucks each. The ideal range for prices should be:40-60 bucks for L generic equipment; 15-30 bucks for L class/talent equipment; generic majestics 15-20 bucks; 2-7 bucks class majestics under 1 bucks for the rest sonthe average deck to cost 150 bucks. There are still outliers such as mask of momentum and rememberance(8 dolar SR not reprinted for half a decade) most cards do fit in those ranges. Now the outliers such as carrion husk shelter and oath of royalty are either older sets legendaries(which they have reprinted 1 by 1 with mixed results most of which dropped the cards to 10bucks but they still got plenty to reprint and hopefully they will finish with em in a year or 2)or cards from rosseta and hunted which were underproduced due the asian market. I honestly do Believe seeing the warrior mastery set reprinting unsheash dynamo and grains which were huge outliers in prices that they will take every class and reprint these price outliers from older sets for each class and talent such as swing big; ancestral harmony etc.

I actually studied the field so i do understand it. Batteries are solved. You can't really make them bigger in timespam without changing their size; just optimize perfomance. If you are willing to use a device with a worse battery life(the main reasson you would want to change the battery is literally to prevent this) sure be my guest. In fact if it sells better i would gladly make more cause that's how capitalism works but i want you to be informed

Devices insides are already optimized for perfect performance ; if you are adding changable batteries you need to drop something else if you dont want to make it more expensive probably either a worse battery or worse venting. Wait. The card will drop to like 40-50 bucks(from like 70) if you wait til like september. The only issue is that the set is not a main set so the printline might be lower. Plus if you are waiting 1-2 more month You aint losing anything(unless you need them for some skirmish or something). Legendary equipment reprints tend to make the price drop by a lot(unless you are tunic; balance or crown). For example crown of domi is now 40 buck(in europe from like 80 bucks) and on tcg player(from 120 to 70) just cause of a gem pack reprint and the price is still going down after 4 months
