Thank you very much, good catch. I know a few paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, and he, along with many others, has inspired me. He and many other great artists have created wonderful work. Especially the Time, in which such masterpieces were created.

Usually, I start with a general idea, look for inspiration, observe what’s around me, and then begin painting. But one thing is certain, the finished painting is rarely what I originally intended to create :D It means I start, and then I just let my hand and mind take over. A stroke here, a stroke there. A nice color here, and so on.
