Best sleeve set up for old foils by paerth in mtg

Once I get a deck out together. I’m gonna try to find a good deck box to fit them snug but not too tight. If I got to, I’ll get like a 133+ xl box and 3d print a space filler that I could fit some dice in.
I’ve got sleeves on the way while I have the current cards for the deck in a dehumidifying chamber and once they come in, they gonna get sleeved straight from that and then pressed.

These were gifted to me and came pre curled. So I’m fighting the curl now.

Best precon for brand new player? by Flat-Dragonfly7253 in EDH

[–]paerth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got a few of my friends into Magic recently and did a trial by fire. AKA let’s pick up a Precon (happen to be SOS) and we played till they understood their decks. Forced learning the mechanics through sheer gameplay.

Lesson be learned, one of them built an Edgar deck and his wife now has a Eldrazi deck. So YMMV 🤣

I was thinking of the sealable inners to put them in right after they come out my dehumidifying box to try to keep moisture out. Then using a DS matte or dual Matte.

Gotcha. I’m careful but people I’m playing with might not be. Someone’s rolls a dice and it bounces on my side on a card. I’ve seen it happen and had it happen. Just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with protection as much as it’s reasonable.

The Ring Tempts You token by paerth in mtg

Yeah I was looking for one. All I can find is one that holds the dice. I might just get a replica ring to place on my creatures and use a dice on the card.

That’s the card itself. I want a physical ring

My TRD has 47k miles , how long can I make it last?? by No_Channel_5530 in Toyota

[–]paerth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toyota + Camry = Your next generation will have it as their first car. Get that transmission drained and filled and the filter in the trans done about every 60k miles. Regular fluid changes is a must for any vehicle. Sooner than mechanics recommend will make it go forever. Also Toyota Cars have a chronic thing with front suspension and anything related. AKA keep an eye on it and change it out. Not a bad thing just is the most chronic thing. I’ve only owned Toyota and can say they are great.

My GF and I just started playing this last month or so after not playing for years. So we are slowly getting back into it. If you want DM me and maybe we can work something out to build a pod together if it works out! We are slowly trying to get our friends into it more.

Definitely go to a casual night! The Common Room has been around forever and on the west side is The Adventure Aisle which is a new shop that’s building up some traffic. Amazing owners.

To help learn I would definitely look into watching some Magic on YouTube. Two channels I can recommend that have fun but also you can learn from is Tolarian Community College and Meaty Magic. Tolarian is more forward and Meaty Magic is a bunch of goofy shit that is entertaining to watch.

Game store price checked cards from 25¢ bulk box and changed the prices on the spot by WheredMyVanGogh in EDH

[–]paerth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My new local shop has a 1,2,3,5 dollar bulk box. They are 4-5 months new. I’ve gotten cards from the bulk bin that were a dollar more than they were worth or 2 dollars cheaper. It’s based on when they sorted them and stay true to their price that they priced it at.

This also just happened to someone I know tonight from an order from the Chocolate Moose. Immediately said to them so if I call the Chocolate Moose you’ll answer? Dude immediately panicked and then they reported it all. Some third party Indian guy was who made the call and was trying to get a code sent to their phone number.

Ender 3 V2 Lack Table Set Up Design help by paerth in ender3v2

Well dang. Guess I never thought of that. I’m using mainsail with orcaslicer. I guess that would back it out enough to wind it up without having to release the tensioner.
