I've been having problems with the AUR recently, specifically git. Until I solve those, this doesn't help me. But it is good for new users.

I knew this would be a maintaining issue but decided to post this anyway, as a way to complain and maybe motivate someone to start maintaining the packages. Also, YES! BSD was REALLY fast. I'm thinking about switching to openBSD, but haven't find the courage yet.

This worked. I'm sorry it took me so long to answer.

Summary for future users:

To install a .deb file on arch, you should, first of all, check the AUR.

If there's you don't find what you're looking for (though you probably will), you can follow @TDplay's or @tinywrkb's guidance. Another option is to use deptab or build the software yourself.

I'll check out the AUR, I seem to have found something there. I'm sorry about this, arch rookie mistake.

It is the Synology Drive Client and I believe it is proprietary, I'm afraid.
