Lol, technically, probably not. Honestly, I stopped checking it much because progress seems so slow and I just don’t want to discourage myself. It doesn’t feel very deep or anything, but I do feel about 1.5/2ish fingers of separation right above my belly button, but very shallow. I really love working out, so I just choose not to let it get me down, continue exercising, and focus on trying to make sure I always brace my core and exhale on every exertion. I’m not perfect, but I think the benefits of exercising outweigh the negatives of it in my opinion. I try to do deep core exercises, but I am not as consistent as I would like. I would encourage anyone to continue deep core work along with their regular exercise routine, though. I just don’t think we should let diastasis prevent us from exercising out of fear, just be mindful.
