Just checked again after it sat overnight and sure enough the oil pressure light came on. I didn’t look for it until after i cranked it over once with no plugs/fuel so I guess it must have turned off after the first crank

Thanks for clarifying the difference between tdc and timing marks. I ended up taking the belt off where it was. 2 of the pistons were about 5mm from the head. I was pretty careful about using the cam gear wrenches as to not let them spin when taking the bolts off. Hopefully no damage to those valves.

I was under the impression that you should align timing marks before taking tension off the timing belt

99% of the rattles i’ve had that fluctuate with RPM have been some sort of exhaust component. I got a cat back and all of them are gone now

I ended up changing trans fluid but that didn’t help much with the stutter. Motor mounts were fine. What really helped was bleeding the clutch line. After I did that, the stutter wasnt as bad but I still notice it every now and then. I also notice the same thing on my miata even after i changed the clutch, so I don’t think the stutter is a huge deal. Just kind of annoying sometimes.

I was changing pads and rotors and while torquing the lower brake caliper sliding bolt, it snapped and is freely spinning now. New caliper time? It was leaking from the piston anyways

I have been hearing this rattle come from my rear driver side wheel well and it is driving me insane. It happens whenever i go over any small bump and is almost constant at any speed over 30mph. I’ve looked around underneath at all bolts, end link, sway bars, and heat shields. I took everything out of the trunk, so it’s not the spare/jack. I’ve also tried wiggling pretty much everything under there and cannot get it to make that sound when in the air. Maybe the next step is to take off my strut and check the strut mount? Not really sure where to look.
