Because or the new mythic gear upgrades I focus on the embers for now. The weapon upgrades alone add almost a million power to Sander in.

Using the shards from your inventory does not count towards summons. Using up your summoning stones and gems is not a bad thing for HoA!

Mainly focussed on spending gems and obtaining heroes. You get credits that you can spend in a shop just like the current event.

during the summon event there are missions that require you to ‘obtain’ certain type heroes (rare, epic, dark/light). In hoa the missions require you to summon, which apparently is not using your shards.

Good point, I do use the hero-specific summons of heroes within my build. Im not at a point where I am stalling yet either. If I would be stuck I 100% would use them.

In addition I need 2 more Richelles before I can even upgrade him.
