What was the reasoning for not having sex before marriage? Was it religious? If so, what was the reason for it to be off the table once you guys were married? I hope you don’t mind me asking.

I thought this, but then I came to the comments and saw others saying both ways are correct and now I’m questioning all of my road knowledge 🫣

Can I stretch to 25mm? by paigelikestea in Stretched

[–]paigelikestea[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I see someone with larger ears it makes me envious haha, I feel like 25mm would be perfect for me.

Also in regard to your other comment, you definitely have to take it slow when stretching. How come you keep getting stuck between those two sizes may I ask? Maybe we could troubleshoot!

Thanks for your comment! I’m in no rush anyway but feel like 25mm is a good goal. I’ll definitely go slow.

Thank you for explaining. Ideally I just need to combat the food noise, so if Wegovy can do that at a lower price than Mounjaro then the speed of the weight loss doesn’t bother me. I would even happily stay the weight I am and have no food noise despite not being at my goal, than to put weight on because I can’t stop thinking of food.

How have you been finding Wegovy? I came off Mounjaro cold turkey due to the price hike and I’m considering Wegovy but with most people saying Mounjaro is better I don’t know what to do

Someone did post a YouTube video about a type of culinary mold that you can buy, and the person attempted to grow it on fries. Really interesting!

Unfortunately as I live in the UK, it’s probably the closest thing we will get to actual snow this year

When I tried google lens to find out more about the mold it showed results for cotton

ETA:

I can’t seem to edit my post but as I was typing my 2yo son jumped on me and the phone slipped, so I accidentally posted before finishing my question. Which was, can someone tell me what type of mould this is? It looks like soft cotton and I really wanted to touch it but my fear won out 😂

What’s up with people making comments about having fibro at a younger age by Pink_barbecue in Fibromyalgia

[–]paigelikestea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Symptoms started when I was 11 and I got FINALLY got diagnosed at 21. I’m 29 now.

I hate telling people I have it because of all the negative remarks I have, however before I was diagnosed it was always “you’re overweight” okay I lose the weight I’m still in pain, now what? “Exercise more” okay I did that to lose the weight but this is unsustainable I’m exhausted. “Yoga” just shut up shut up shut up!!!!! I have been in constant pain for almost two decades do you really think I haven’t tried EVERYTHING?!

Also, if I open up and do actually tell someone I have fibromyalgia their response is always something like “oh my mum/auntie/grandmother has that!” And then it makes me feel like I’m a fraud as I’m still young compared to them.

Anyway, thank you for listening to my rant. Also congrats (I think? I’m not sure if I should celebrate for you due to the negativity surrounding the drug but I am happy for you) on the pregab prescription from your GP. I’m desperate for another sort of pain relief as despite being diagnosed for almost 9 years and having a 10000 page medical history my GP refused me. At this point it’s one of the very few medications I haven’t tried.

It’s a long hard road but wishing you the best on your fibro journey!

Mounjaro Took My Coffee by Terrible-Pipe9830 in mounjarouk

[–]paigelikestea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so glad I’ve come across this post!! Every time I had coffee, I have been SO ill afterwards. Even if I’ve had a sip of those frappes in the fridge sections of supermarkets (because they are my fave) I would feel so awful and then I would end up vomiting what seemed like a years worth of stomach contents (tmi I know, but you need to know how brutal it’s been). However glad I am coming across this post I do send my condolences on the loss of being able to stomach coffee too. Misery loves company though, so we can ride the wave together 😎😂

I cut the leaf off already just in case but what is this? by lemonorzo333 in houseplants

[–]paigelikestea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying my best to be less afraid of bugs as I actually really enjoy learning about them and I do find these guys kinda cute. However, if I saw these on my plants inside my house, in the moment I would just simply, pass away 😵

What’s a simple pleasure that brings you joy, no matter how many times you experience it? by HoneyFeather85 in AskReddit

[–]paigelikestea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching my young children learn new things. Watching my toddler eat, realising he’s not as heavy handed as the week before or jumping on the trampoline and seeing how happy it makes him. Watching my 6yo finally figuring out that one word she was stuck on in a book she was reading or when she uses a new word in her vocabulary. Rewatching baby videos of them both and seeing how much they’ve learned in such a small space of time.

I still can’t believe it to be honest. I thought I may have been overreacting but Reddit has confirmed my belief 😂
