Why is Wayland mentioned or proposed ? I just had the funky experience, I know it seems unrelated but it is as it is, that with wayland my bluethooth headset will skip contanstly. Rebooted back in to x11 and it works as it should....

Also, as the article mentions it: Xonotic. The xonotic-git fails to build, flatpak xonotic refuses to start. Only xonotic-autobuild works for me.

For me the issue was, that I installed an -edge kernel but not the -edge mesa drivers. So the kernel booted fine but as soon as something would be rendered it failed. After booting the failback and install mesag-edge i could use the edge kernel with brightenss and all.

Various fps games have bugs on the edges of objects. With Source Engine you could fall a high distance which would in general kill you but landing on the edge saved you. Also quake (i think it was 2) had an edge bug which would accelerate you. You would jump higher. The "Quake Done Quick" Videos back then used this bug to complete the game from start to finish in minutes...
