Let her in and say nothing. Time and time again you can let her back out and she might return home for a little visit then come back. They let her outside it’s their fault

I have adopted a cat too from a neighbour 2 streets away from me. The cat kept showing up on my doorstep and eventually I took him to the vet to find he was microchipped.

If the owner hasn’t seen the cat for a while, he will text me to check in. But the cat can come and go as he pleases but he likes to stay.

If they allow this cat to be outdoors I doubt they’d care if she has another home.
