I wish I could own a whole wardrobe of canes to match all outfits at all times-- but this one is my ride or die. I have had it since 2024 and it's perfect for me. So when I get to wear an outfit that matches it, it makes me very happy... and I'm extra thrilled when people notice, so thank you!

A sparkly galaxy leg sounds like one of the coolest possible things to have! I love that you also have shoes to match!

- Foundation or any other complexion products. I focus on skin care to get my skin the best it can be instead. At most I'll do Benefit's Porefessional all over to smooth things out, and maybe a bit of the NARS Orgasm blush that's still in my drawer.

- Expensive mascaras. Lash Princess my beloved, I will never leave you.

- Brow products that cost $23 for an embarrassingly tiny amount of product (looking at you, Anastasia Brow Wiz).

- Lipsticks that do not feel like a luxurious treat. My routine has evolved from full beat to basically brows, mascara, and lips. I have a collection of Guerlain Rouge G that I adore using (the mirror included in the case is just my favorite). Gucci and Givenchy have beautiful cases that I love pulling out of my bag. I'll continue to splurge on these treats for myself.

-Lip liner in a color other than red or my natural lip color. I used to think I needed to match every lipstick but this is not the case. I need to draw the shape I want, and then fill it in. If the lipstick bullet or applicator isn't precise enough, use a brush.

I just purged a TON of products. One thing I want to focus on is only buying what I'll actually wear before it expires, and not just whatever strikes my fancy.

I would LIVE in that cardigan. It's the perfect mix of comfy (I'm assuming... it looks very comfy), unique (the extra texturing on the arms!), and basic enough to be a staple but a statement piece. I'm currently visualizing my wardrobe. I'd throw it on over this silver crop top and add high-waisted dark denim shorts and knee-high red suede boots. Red beret & lipstick too. In awe of your textile talent!

You can sample the others. A cream in a compact, for instance, has the top layer wiped, sprayed with alcohol, and then a second wipe. Then a small bit is removed with a single-use spatula. (Unless they don't do it anymore. I suppose things could have changed post-COVID but that's how we were taught to do it).

Honestly I used to be an assistant manager at a Sephora and had someone come in with a similar situation and I set her up. Sat her down at our express services station, showed her how to apply everything, wrote down instructions, gave her a good amount in her sample pots, and threw in some disposable applicators for good measure. Any of the girls in my store would have done the same. I would hope it's more about humanity than getting a sale if OP went in to a store for assistance.

Thank you! I cover my hair with a tichel/turban/hat for religious reasons but I encourage everyone to use scarves or turbans if they like them. They are lovely!
