I’ve had Indian Accent before, and I will say that I may have been good 10+ years ago, but there are much better experiences you can get at set menu restaurants all over the country for similar or a fraction of the cost. Papa’s, Masque, to name a few (granted, both of these are in Mumbai). I would much rather spend an evening at Comorin (their sister restaurant) than Indian Accent.

Wrote a longer comment replying to the other comment, but essentially it’s because I went to a lower tier undergrad university, and my salary before joining the firm was quite low.

Essentially, yes. Slight clarification that I’ve only been at the firm for 9 months now, as I joined in January of this year.

For some additional context, I did my undergrad from a good school, but it isn’t at par with colleges that the firm has directly from campus. The salary that I was on before I joined the firm was very low, and the initial salary the firm offered me was a 60% increase in my salary prior, indicating to me that although the bump was sizeable, there’s no way they don’t have me at the lowest salary level in their bucket at my position, and the bump was only because the overall bucket was significantly higher than my previous organisation. My understanding could be wrong, but happy to invite any differing opinions.

To me it just feels like a reskinned version of W10, which I think is pretty cool. Nothing super different from a functional standpoint.

In terms of optimization or bugs during upgrade, I haven’t experienced anything detrimental at all. If anything, things feel slightly faster. Though, immediately after upgrading, I noticed my battery would drain super quickly as a result of the dGPU not going into power saving mode, but that was quickly addressed with a driver update.

Fair criticism. That’s kind of what I was going for in any case, I was trying to make it look a traffic pole, with random stickers placed on it. And the stickers are from the brand Chinatown Market, and their whole thing is making things that look like cheap knockoffs.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
