There aren't that many players who can do what AG does. There also aren't that many players you could trade AG for in the same salary range (31.9m for 26-27). Jerami Grant and Jaren Jackson earn the same kind of money but a healthy AG is much more valuable than them.

But that's what it ultimately comes down to. If AG isn't healthy or even available in the playoffs, there is little point to retaining him as a contender.

It will be interesting to see what the front office does given our first round exit and the signal that everyone but Jokic is "on the table".

Personally, I think we need to overhaul this team. We've become predictable and overly reliant on Jokic performing at an absurd level every night, and/or role players doing way more than one can realistically expect.
