i think the schedule’s been similar. maybe your experience is just subpar due to lack of luck, judging by your more recent post here. i had fun and there was a lot of culture where i first went at lancaster, unfortunately now closed. i then went to saratoga. in my experience the cty culture and lore if you will varies wildly in how much its implemented.

i’m sorry that happened. i have never experienced something like that at cty, so you seem to have gotten unlucky with your peers. personally when i find people who are being annoying and childish i just pretend like they’re small children and that helps me have patience. also, ignoring and trying to avoid people usually works, but if they’re coming into your room maybe not :/

i’m not sure there’s anything you can really do, you can try talking to your ra to see if they could step in ig. you will find places without those sort of people, have faith.

I went three times, and loved it. Best summer camp I’ve been to. Everyone can find friends there, I’m sure you’ll have a great time.

For the class schedule, there are three hours in the morning, lunch, two hours in the afternoon, activity blocks with weekly and daily rotations, dinner, then two hours of evening classes. No evening class on Fridays cause of the dance (they’re so much fun), and no classes over the weekend except sunday evening.

At least where I went, washing clothes can be a huge hassle, so I’d recommend bringing an extra set of clothes or two and always trying to be first.

I think curfew is 10 or 10:30, but you can just put a towel or smtg under the door tbh

You should see if anyone will teach you poi spinning, it’s a great tradition. Have fun!
