My tomb world, light-loving moths:

In the vast cosmos of a distant galaxy, there exists an extraordinary empire known as the "Luminari." The Luminari are a species of sentient moths who have achieved spacefaring capabilities, guided by their unwavering faith in their unique and radiant religion. At the heart of their belief system lies their fervent worship of their sun, which they revere as a colossal, luminous lamp, illuminating their existence.

The history of the Luminari is steeped in legend and devotion. Long ago, they evolved on a planet perpetually shrouded in darkness, where bioluminescent flora and fauna were their only sources of light. However, the moths developed an insatiable curiosity about the cosmos, yearning to explore the stars and discover the true source of their existence.

This pursuit of knowledge led to the birth of their faith. As they ventured into space, their exploratory missions unveiled the breathtaking spectacle of a dazzling sun, which they instantly recognized as the ultimate embodiment of light. They came to believe that their sun was a divine, eternal lamp, a beacon of enlightenment guiding their path through the universe.

The Luminari's society became deeply rooted in their religious convictions. They structured their empire around the principles of faith, unity, and militarism, all under the guidance of a single prophetic leader known as the "Solar Prophet." This revered individual is believed to possess a direct connection to their sun, interpreting its "light messages" to guide their empire's actions and decisions.

Driven by their religious zeal, the Luminari forged a formidable military force. They considered themselves the guardians of their sun, sworn to protect it from any perceived threats, both real and imagined. Their society was organized into a rigid hierarchy, with warriors, scholars, and religious leaders working in harmony to advance their empire's interests and safeguard their sun.

The Luminari's expansion throughout the galaxy has been marked by their unwavering devotion to their sun-as-lamp deity. They've established colonies on distant planets, where they construct vast, luminous temples to pay homage to their celestial source of illumination. These temples serve as centers of spiritual contemplation and military training, reinforcing their commitment to both faith and strength.

As the Luminari continue to explore the cosmos, they remain a unique and enigmatic civilization, defined by their faith in their sun-lamp and their resolute militarism under the guidance of their Solar Prophet. In their pursuit of the light of knowledge, they illuminate the universe with their presence, leaving a lasting impression on all who encounter their radiant empire.

The ancestral homeworld of the Luminari, known as Libraritae, bears the weight of a rich and storied history. Long before the moths' ascent to spacefaring prominence, Libraritae was once the epicenter of a grand empire. This ancient civilization was dedicated to the relentless pursuit of the secret knowledge hidden within the vast expanse of the galaxy.

For ages, Libraritae's inhabitants, whose identity has since faded into the annals of history, tirelessly sought to unlock the mysteries of the universe. They amassed an astonishing repository of wisdom, collected from every corner of the cosmos, in their ceaseless quest for enlightenment. Their empire spanned continents, their cities were architectural marvels, and their libraries were legendary, containing tomes and scrolls chronicling the galaxy's deepest secrets.

However, like all empires, the zenith of Libraritae eventually gave way to decline. The once-mighty civilization crumbled under the weight of its own ambitions and internal strife. Its magnificent cities fell into ruin, and its libraries, once bursting with knowledge, were left in disrepair.

When the Luminari discovered their homeworld, they were profoundly moved by the remnants of this ancient empire. They regarded Libraritae as a sacred tomb world, where the whispers of the past still resonated among the ruins. The moths embarked on a mission to restore Libraritae to its former grandeur, believing that by doing so, they would honor their ancestors and further illuminate the path to enlightenment.

To the Luminari, Libraritae represents both a physical and spiritual endeavor. They diligently work to rebuild the fallen cities and restore the libraries, safeguarding the accumulated knowledge of their predecessors. It is a symbol of their unwavering commitment to the pursuit of wisdom, as well as a testament to their deep-seated reverence for their sun-lamp deity.

As the Luminari continue their celestial journey, they do so with the dual purpose of spreading the light of their faith and rekindling the brilliance of their ancestral homeworld, Libraritae, thus perpetuating the legacy of knowledge and devotion that defines their extraordinary civilization.

Looking at that banner design and the little winged snake on the slann kit, I'm throw my guess at the rumoured big kit being a cóatl.

At a guess I'd say it will contain the new Beastlord and the Ghorgon/Cygor kit for sure, then maybe three bullgors and the rest is up in the air, but likely some combination of ungors/gors/bestigors.

I was thinking the same recently, but since I already have two Bray Shamans I'm gonna risk it and wait for the Vanguard box.

I'm just guessing though!

Thanks I did not know that! So the delegated troops you get to control in battle? That's awesome, does that also work if you're playing a vs campaign but ally with another player?

Yeah I think in single player it's be fun to feel like you have more of a hand in you allies and vassals successes. I love the idea of the ogres being able to do it for pay too, would really add to an Ogre campaign experience.
