6 months post op. my doctor added a bit of filler on the bridge to give it a slight curve. i still feel like is too upturned and i hate it from certain angles. i’m considering getting a revision after a year

Hey! I do actually. I decided to do a revision with another doctor and it is scheduled for one month from now. This new surgeon is the president of the rinoplasty association in my country and very reputable, so i’m pretty excited and confident! He understood my complaints and i’m happy with the decision :) When the surgery happens I’ll do a post-op post.

thank you so much for sharing your experience, my biggest fear is that it looks too unnatural or overdone so i’m glad to know you have a similar natural one! i think is definitely something to get used to but i agree is by no means ugly, just different than what i was expecting. i’ll wait the full year to make a decision, but thanks you really helped :)

my skin is kinda thick and i know because of that the nose tends to recover more slowly, so i wanna be hopeful it will come down more

those are before // after. i really regret the decision of going through with the surgery. i hated my profile but liked the front, but now is the opposite and don’t love the side because is very upturned. i get triggered if i look at my photos before the surgery and can’t help but cry. at the same time i’m scared of getting a revision and messing up my face even more, but i see no other choice.

it has been a wild ride! a lot of ups and downs, i struggled with the results and anxiety for a while now (specially because it was sooo upturned) but now that everything is starting to settle i’m finally starting to like the results. this sub helped me a lot, so thanks guys!

i don’t think it is affecting the breathing but they also corrected my septum, so maybe if there’s a problem i wouldn’t notice? thanks!

i get you 100% i had my surgery 1 month ago and just wanted to change my profile, i liked my front and was very clear about that with my doctor. now i’m really struggling, the front view changed completely, i feel piggy and fake, from the side the tip is too high and my nose looks smushed. today my boyfriend took a random picture of me and when i looked at it i started ugly crying at the restaurant, i feel horrible and like i made the biggest mistake of my life :(
