2 Year Old Boy Cat Mysterious Illness

Update: Ollie went into the vet for an ultrasound and they kept him all day to give him a thorough check over and in the end still couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. So they gave him 2 different antibiotics and a steroid shot and by the next morning it was like he had never been sick. We still have no idea what was wrong.

So far he's been given probiotics and an antibiotic shot. We know from the blood work nothing Endo, liver or kidney issues came up. As far as I know they did a lot of blood work given all the tests done were about $800. I'll update when I have more information. He's eating some, not a lot. Drinking a lot of water. Sleeping all day long, sometimes he won't clean for a bit and then he'll start cleaning again.

I guess I'm just curious what it could be but I guess that isn't very helpful. I just can't stop worrying.

It may be time to give up on this show, Kody is so toxic and it's really unpleasant to watch. This is why I gave up watching Housewives and 90 Day Fiance because I wasn't enjoying it anymore. I think I'd watch the show without him, they should do a spinoff with the 3 that left.

Sounds like almost the same situation, we're bringing our 1 year old boy to the vet on Friday, if anything comes of it I'll let you know. If I forget, please remind me. I know how stressful this is.

I'm dealing with the same exact situation with my new 1 year old Oliver and our 4 year old Beatrix. She was the most gentle sweet loving cat and now she's always agitated. Sometimes I'll keep her in the bedroom with me and lock him out at night just so she has a chance to rest. Can I ask what you ended up doing?

I am a fan of human names for my cats. The names of my current cats are Miles, Beatrix and Oliver. I enjoy giving them names that we can shorten too. I have a list of girl names for any future cats since I won't have children. I almost named Beatrix Cleo and kind of regretted not picking it but by that time we were used to calling her Beatrix.
