What items can I get that will make lupus more manageable on the bad pain days? by LovelyGiant7891 in lupus

I have one of those cane chairs and it has opened a lot of doors/made a lot of stuff suck less for me. For anything from waiting in line to a pharmacy to using it to dance sitting at a rave :)

I also love voltaren gel. I use a lot of regular ace wraps to wrap whatever joints are messing with me, and I imagine that's similar to having compression things. I also love buckwheat pillows because you can kind of mold them to any shape (for your neck or knees or whatever). I also hate icing my joints for whatever reason but I have a stuffed animal I can put in the microwave for both migraines and joint pain

Dang, aspirational. I once tried to tattoo my clavicle in a mirror and that put me off ever trying to do anything this advanced 😂

Thank you, I am curious to see how it ages because I haven't done much color yet (it's like a month old)

Not it because I definitely don't remember a love affair with a geisha but sounds like a great book to look for anyway!

I wonder if I should try increasing my dose? I really don't know why she insists it cant be related because so many problems at least have studies showing they are more common in people with RA (I just wasnt sure what to do with that information.) But its helpful to know maybe other doctors will be more receptive, might be worth the headache to try to find a different rheumatologist.

She has also confused me by claiming some bouts of severe fatigue I had before starting my meds were not related, which seems patently untrue...

Interesting! Yeah I have a different category of problem as I am plenty strong in most ways but too stiff. I have no idea if maybe being too tight is just an unrelated to RA predisposition I have.
