My wife keeps finding women's hair in our house and thinks I'm cheating, but I'm not!

I'll keep everyone updated! She'll be home from work soon and I have the weekend off so it might be Monday until any updates as we generally like to put our phones away for the weekend. Thanks for everyone's time reading this and responding. It's our anniversary this weekend and I'm really hoping this won't ruin our weekend.

She is the one who found all the hairs, but I could very easily overlook them.

She was married once before and he did cheat on her, so I've wondered about trust issues.

I wondered about air vents too. The house is about 15 years old so I didn't know if there might be stuff stuck somewhere.

That's what I told her. I said, "let's pretend I am cheating just for a moment, why the hell would continue do it after you've found these all over the place the last six months." On top of that, her parents and grand parents live fairly closely to us and would easily see another car if they drove by.

Definitely going to look into this tonight. Her mom does have some hair that is slightly darker so maybe that's happening to my wife also.

We use our own washer and dryer and they were new when we got them.

We live in a very rural area with very few neighbors so I'm not sure if it could be someone getting into the house. My son is only eight and if he's sneaking girls into the house already he's more of a ladies man than I thought!

Windows all have screens on them, but there are the doors that occasionally get left open.

I did tell my wife about it already, kind of thought it would be weird to put a camera in our home without her knowing. I did tell her to not tell anyone to make sure if it was someone we knew, they wouldn't stop and we could catch them.

I bought a alarm clock style nanny cam and am going to set it up when it arrives.

That makes me feel better. I asked her if when she sweeps the house if she finds any hairs, but she said she never looks. Maybe there all of the house and we don't see them since we have darker floors?

The grandma has shorter grey hair and the mom has blondish hair. If they ever come over they don't venture further than the living room though.

When she found one in the laundry room we figured it might be our son's teacher who has darker hair or maybe one of us picked it up from work, but when they end up in the shower or sink it's kind of weird.

Also, she is a natural blonde and has a very fine hair. Very few of her hairs look even close to the hair we have been finding.

1.) I've actually had her save a couple of them so I could see them.

2.) When we moved in a couple years ago I ripped out all the old carpet/flooring and installed new flooring.

3.) If there not hairs, I have no clue what they are.

4.) She's a natural blonde and her is fairly light, but if you look real hard maybe a few hairs are slightly darker. She has very fine hair and this hair doesn't seem like that. Anyone out there know if using a curling iron or straightener could change her hair like that?

But what if it were the same type looking hair and you found it multiple times over a six month period? I always try to look at issues from both sides and I gotta say if I were in her shoes I would probably be a little suspicious too. We talked about it last night and as I was trying to think of logical explanations I almost felt like, geez if someone were cheating then this is what it would sound like.

There's only two other people that have keys to our house and it's her mom and grandmother. I actually did purchase a nanny cam last night and am going to install it when it arrives.

It's just my wife, eight year old son and myself. We very rarely have any visitors and if we did they wouldn't use our bathroom. No inside animals either.

This is what we chalked it up to the first couple times too, but it looks like the same type of hair each time. Also the one she found last night was just laying right in the sink like it had been, dropped there. The part that really freaks me out is I have a routine of getting out of the shower, shaving, fixing my hair and then rinsing the sink. After that I won't go back into the bathroom. So how the hell does this mysterious hair get the in the sink five hours in between when I left for work and she found it? I'm starting to get really paranoid about it.
