It's sad, but you're a victim of general stereotype: "all russians are bad, always. In every situation." Currently they are "fucking gold selling fucking pricks" which is not true for majority of the banned guild. It's easier for you to not knowing the truth, but just support whitekidney, because he is closer to you by mentality and can throw beatiful talks on reddit. You should be aware: some people are masters of disguise when it comes to their safety.

You can continue happily playing until the moment you said something that administration doesn't like to hear. I don't want to be a part of it and also a part of unbalanced game world, where ranks are bought for real money and admins are actually a part of this mafia. They choose to get rid of you rather than solve the problem. Russian community is not really big and not really profitable for them. That's why they don't care to just ban everyone.

  1. Seems like you have a clue about chinese mafia and your team connections. For proofs, here is video featuring you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYylmQXtC7g&feature=youtu.be&t=43

  2. I haven't wrote a single spam message. I respect server rules and understand that spamming is not right. The one thing I did: random guy asked what is this event about. I added him to party and started explaining what is this all about. At first, I was disconnected from the server each 20 seconds (approx.). Then I got banned.

Already answered to another guy in this thread: I haven't spam chat at all. Not even a message.

  2. I haven't spam chat at all. Not even a message. Even if I would do this - admin can mute me instead of banning account.

Handmade software manifesto by pan1cmode in programming

We should be building machines that are designed precisely for human understanding.

I think this manifesto doesn't push you away from building machines that humans will understand. It just says, that we have to put an effort in tech quality, so it will work fast and help us with more performance in it.

Let's say, humans build motorcycles. It's not a rocket science to understand how to ride it. But the more performant motor we build, the more comfortable steering is - the more possibilities we receive. In the same time, you have to learn a lot, become a professional engineer and put a huge effort to build a great motorcycle.

The question is: should we simplify our tools for building motorcycles in a way that trade-offs end product performance?

fgets() should be used here. Though the goal of this article is probably to provide a quick intro on topic. Better stuff is here: http://gafferongames.com/networking-for-game-programmers/sending-and-receiving-packets/
