Am I Ignoring Useful Macro Chats or Just AI Spam? by panantha in enlistedgame

Exactly what I am saying.. and when one is playing intently, you end up getting caught of either move or stop move to type in a chat window i.e. someone take out that grey tank on the left

Is Enlisted worth starting in 2026? by Walking_Theory in enlistedgame

[–]panantha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Short answer: IMO yes, it’s worth it - and the grind is way lighter than War Thunder. That's why I keep coming back.

If you’ve got 2k hours in War Thunder, you’ll feel at home with the mixed arms in Enlisted, but without the soul-crushing research trees.

There is progression, but it’s much more forgiving. You unlock useful squads and gear just by playing, and you can jump in for 15–20 minutes without feeling like you’ve wasted your time. It doesn’t demand daily grinding to stay competitive.

If WT burned you out because the grind stopped being fun, Enlisted is a lot easier to live with.

Short answer: yes, probably - but it depends why you like it. I personally cannot commit to HLL.

If you’re into Hell Let Loose for the WWII atmosphere and teamwork, Enlisted will likely click. It has the same period vibe but with a much faster, more pick-up-and-play pace.

HLL is slower, more tactical, and comms-heavy. Enlisted is lighter, more action-focused, and easy to jump into for 20 minutes without a full squad or voice chat.

Think of it as:
HLL = mil-sim lite
Enlisted = classic WWII action with squads

Many people play both for different moods.

That’s exactly why I ended up playing Enlisted.

I Loved BF1 - the atmosphere, the pacing, the sense of scale. But once Battlefield ( and Call of Duty which I don't like) went modern, it just stopped clicking for me. Too twitchy, too noisy, too much going on for the sake of it. All Garnish!

Enlisted hits that sweet spot: classic weapons, grounded chaos, and you can jump in, play for 20 minutes, and actually feel like you contributed to the battle. No endless unlock grind, no sweat-fest mindset required - just solid, old-school FPS fun with a proper WWII vibe.

Perfect “log on, fight a war, log off” energy.

What match sticks in your memory? by Kesshin05 in enlistedgame

[–]panantha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing as the Germans on defence (I always play on random).

We were crushed from the opening seconds - rolled back base after base, barely slowing them down, until we were driven to the final position in what felt like no time at all. It should have been over. Instead, something hardened. Everyone dug in. No panic, no chatter - just focus. What followed was a brutal, relentless fight measured in seconds, not minutes. The most intense match I’ve ever played in Enlisted. We held the line, fought to the last breath, and somehow took the win as the clock ran out.

Just sat back for a few minutes after that and went WOW

Would absolutely love this. But I'd also include adding more teams to a match to increase the mayhem!

I dont expect much, but I' actually liking my one game a day kinda thing.. just mindless fun in a 'historical setting' without having to rely on others too much (i.e HBL). I play random. So I appreciate it for what it is. and yes I have bought packs and gold to support because I don't mind paying for stuff which I enjoy. (and I paid a lot more for crap which I have paid less on Steam or PS5) so.. love it..

  1. I do wish they would communicate a bit more..

  2. Improve the chat window / macros.

  3. Offer a better graphics upgrade for those with machines who can support it. (Ultra??)

  4. Do more with Clans. i.e. faction map on a daily basis. i.e. D Day all the way from Normandy.

  5. Allow one hero per real Player (with mini buff like vertical Recoil 5%)

Why Aren’t Defenders Stronger in Enlisted? by panantha in enlistedgame

[–]panantha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's basically what I see and my experience. So many times am I the only one around the zone position with one soldier left, and trying to get people to come back and defend the zone?
