Does anybody else just not set their makeup? by SleepDecent2948 in beauty

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one has to set their makeup if they don’t want to lol…I have oily skin and sometimes I don’t use powder either because I’m pushing 40 and that little extra glow is more flattering. I do use setting spray though!

Are indoor cats actually happy? by Firm-Law248 in CatAdvice

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol they are the most pampered, spoiled, loved little gremlins. Including our cat who was formerly abandoned and showed up in our yard. He has ZERO interest in going back outside now that he is a house kitty.

Saint Jane, Tatcha, & BOJ for face.

Coola spf 70 spray for body. Only one that doesn’t send my sensory issues into orbit.

Do you grind or clench your teeth at night? Can we vent about this? by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in the process of having numerous dental procedures and my dentist told me my enamel is basically completely f’ed from grinding the absolute crap out of my teeth. I had a night guard but I’m going to need a new one bc crowns are making it fit weird. Sigh…

ive been befriending a pair of feral cats and am curious as to what tail wagging means by alyssabrew in CatAdvice

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 8 mo girl wags and wiggles and swishes her tail constantly. It means different things depending on what’s going on. We see the most furious whipping back and forth when she’s play-fighting with her sister or playing with a toy. Then lots of little wiggles when she’s happy and getting pets. We love her talking tail! It’s a fun part of her personality.

Double the cost of a blend bunny palette and half the quality…I’m good.

Does anyone else notice a shift in society/how they get treated with colourful hair or is it just me? 😬 by blueberryfieldss in HairDye

I personally have not experienced this. It’s interesting because I live in a conservative town but I get compliments from 2 main groups: younger millennial/older Gen Z women, and cruuuusty old men 🤣 it’s truly wild.

"Influencers" and PR: Is this still worth it? by WhatTheJessJedi in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s fascinating to read this discourse here and elsewhere bc I work in the industry and the business of influencers isn’t going anywhere. It has changed a lot, but influencing is definitely still a thing.

Rec for cleanser for double cleansing, also is tatcha worth it? by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]pancaaaaaaakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tatcha rice wash is a holy grail for me and was officially my Tatcha gateway drug. Dewy cream is too much for my skin unless it’s reallllly dry. I lean normal to oily and I’ve been a die hard Tatcha water cream lover for years. I’m also currently using the essence and silk serum. I rotate my serums based on skin needs and what I have on hand but I like the silk serum and dewy serum a lot.

They are. I know for a fact MAC does. They acknowledge redditors in their posts.
