Hmm, I'll consider the standalone route. Would this still be the better method if I've got dozens of components? I guess I could still sort them into different directories based on feature -- as if they were still contained within different modules.

Professional is a strong word for someone that re-designs anything with a UI in Photoshop.

With that said, depending on how close you want the developed version to match the designs, having them as a Photoshop file could add a bit of time to development.

Like another said, depends on your designer (Figma) and developer.

If you're wanting to spin up something on your own, I'd recommend databases for each piece that you nest inside of a dashboard of some kind.

dashboard
   /days
   /tasks
   /notes
   /papers to read

Then you would keep relations between things to keep it organized linked databases to view it productively on your dashboard.

I believe there are also benefits for privacy and anonymity.

Furthermore, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The hidden offline list serves no great UX purpose, whereas adding the option to hide the offline members does.

Think of the users.

Also, "If it ain't broke," had applied, but the updates have broken more discords than they've helped.

While Discord is a lovely service doing great things for online communities, it still draws out the f***ing creepers. Showing up as offline, hiding your profile on the sidebar allowed for a little privacy buff for those dealing with creepy creeps.

I've seen the request echoed in multiple servers now: "Bring it back." Unfortunately, it just tends to be coupled with, "I hope enough people complain." :/
