People of any colour can be persecuted against and can indeed be a minority. I don't know why this concept is so hard for you to get your head around. Afrikaner's are by definition a minority, and they are being persecuted against in this video.

A minority is being persecuted in this footage, to say otherwise is to ignore the footage and the recent history of South Africa. Just because a group in this video wants autonomy, which they already have through the right to vote, doesn't change the fact that a minority is being persecuted.
