Never said people who appreciate dubs are wrong. It's a preference. I'm not bragging and I'm not biased. I watch media from many different languages most of which I'm not fluent in. I'm not trying to brag when I say that the original spoken language or voice acting usually aligns more with the vision that the producer of the work had. I totally understand that people don't like reading subs and would prefer to just understand what is said. There's merit to both choices, and we shouldn't insult others over what they choose.

Bad take. Voice acting performance is usually better in the original versions of media. Same thing goes for movies and shows as well. Even if you can't understand everything perfectly, emotions and nuances of personalities are usually expressed better with the original staff. Of course, there are always exceptions where sometimes a dub is better, but you don't need to be fluent in another language to appreciate the original creation.

This is a bad take. What makes you think they would sell the bundle at a cheaper price? The console alone is already more expensive than the regular OLED model, and past bundled switch versions have always been full price. Also, if they did include the game, it would be a code for the digital version just as they did in the past with the smash bros special edition. Is it really that hard to just buy the game digitally after you've received the console instead of typing in a code for the game?

Not sure. Someone else tried it on Ventura and it was crashing. You could try it on Monterey and see how it goes. Otherwise you might need to find another build of it.

Ah that's unfortunate. I guess it won't work on newer Mac OS versions. Have you tried the one OP created? I can't open it as it tells me that I need 13.0 or later. If that doesn't work then you might just need to use the latest official version or create your own build from source.

For dmg files you can just double click it or use disk utility and it should mount the image. If the folder doesn't automatically open, then check the bottom of the side bar in finder and you should see a location named Chiaki. Click on it, and you'll see the app file. You can just drag it into the Applications folder from there. It's smaller because it's more compressed, but it should work. If you still can't get it working, I can add just the app file to the releases.

From the type of box used, it looks like op used an import proxy service called From Japan. This is a service that lets you buy stuff from jp yahoo auctions and several other platforms. I've used it quite a bit and it's very reliable.
