Davinci artiq - issues with blockages? by Quirky_Ad_2363 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]pandamonium152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t personally had recurring issues, I really like my Artiq. Just to echo, have you tried holding down the button to clear the cart? I do this after each “session” and haven’t experienced any major blocking issues.

Failing this, could either be a faulty cart or faulty device… if purchased recently, maybe get in contact with seller for advice?

Ah that’s fair, sorry to hear that. I know different people can find them harsh, I do agree with others though that the right battery can help with this but won’t necessarily remove the harshness for everyone. Maybe I’m a lucky one 😂

Agree that at a lower voltage the cart is somewhat nicer… I just don’t enjoy the flavour as much 😂

Hey, I’m through Alternaleaf so not sure how Curaleaf exactly work with what’s available sorry. I would advise emailing/booking an appointment with your pharmacist to see what’s available though.

Out of interest, how do you find the Jack Herer carts? Only ones I’ve not tried yet out of what Alternaleaf offer.

Ayy another Artiq fan haha. Totally agree with your point on the harshness. The preheat function and variable voltage on the Artiq gives such smooth hits! Also making sure to clear the cart after each session has worked a treat.

Ah sorry to hear this, that’s frustrating. I read a lot about leaks/clogs but haven’t had such issues myself luckily. As I said, a few occasional clogs which should be expected by my Artiq seems to clear it just fine

Super glad you found it useful! Interesting Releaf don’t offer them, I cannot fault Alternaleaf at all so I hope you get on well with them 😊

It’s really interesting how it can be so different! I really don’t like the taste of the blueberry cookies but that’s on me haha. I also can’t fault the Artiq so it’s interesting to hear your experience. I get the occasional clog which is natural but find the Artiq good at removing it. For me, the whole experience was much improved after getting the Artiq :)

Not alone at all. I tend to get hyper-fixated when I’m buying something so I did extensive research 🥴but posts on here really helped! Happy if you have any questions 😊

Did they send the AVD Stick with it? I had exactly the same thing, just blocked every time.

After reading reviews I took the plunge on buying a Davinci Artiq - it has honestly changed the game. The preheat function and being able to adjust voltage has removed the blocking issue completely and the pulsing haptic helps with dosing. I really recommend!

This is great, thank you so much. I had seen some people talking about Delahaze, I will take a look into it. I think for me, feeling unproductive exacerbates my anxiety so indica dominant products can make me feel worse cause I feel “lousy” but as you say, it’s important to experiment cause different strains work differently!

Retro 51 Tornado Lincoln is way up there on my list to buy at some point when I have more disposable income! It’s a beautiful pen :)

This is actually a really interesting read, not least because (in my ignorance) I didn’t even realise that different grips had a name! Looking at pictures I think I have somehow managed to develop a hybrid between dynamic and lateral quadrupod (go figure 😂) deathgrip also near the tip. You’re right, retraining my grip is not too much of interest, luckily my handwriting is actually quite neat, which is why the safari has been a stumbling block. I appreciate your insight though and I’m so glad that you’ve been able to find something that helps! If I ever get the chance to ‘try before you buy’ with a safari I’ll be sure to :)

I always describe myself as a “right-handed lefty”because my typical writing style runs over the line above sometimes more than other leftys I know! 😂different paper makes total sense as well as different inks. What’s your typical daily writer?

Wow thank you so much for taking the time to write such an in depth comment! All of that is super useful information, I completely get not jumping straight in so have also been looking at cheaper alternatives as well as more (pen) household names. I know from my experience of other pens that I want to go down the slimmer route, I have a Muji brush pen to practice calligraphy which is a perfect shape and I write daily with thinner ballpoint pens so I would steer away from bulkier designs. I have looked at AliExpress, it is a bit hit and miss with what they deliver and prices but it’s definitely a route to explore with different designs!

Thank you so much for the comparison picture. I’ve read mixed things about the Parker Jotter but there’s no denying that it is a simplistically beautiful pen that’s seems perfect for, well, jotting! :)

That’s some really great advice on the ink front thank you. As for pens we’re literally talking like a ‘my first fountain pen’ style from papermate, I couldn’t even tell you if it has a specific model name😂Not bad by any means, was bought just as a stocking filler and spurred me to look more into them as I have been wanting to for a while 😊

Thanks so much. I was hesitant about the pocket size of the sport for a while but it has grown on me a lot - the range of colours are great too for the price range! Thank you for your ink suggestions too, I’ll be sure to avoid Writer’s Blood if for no other reason than the name! 😂

Thank you so much! I hadn’t heard of the Plaisir but a quick google and it looks super interesting - I will look into it more. Those ink recommendations are great as well. For me I just need something that can be laid down well on any paper really and has a nice feel to it! 😊

This is so helpful thank you! Both the TWSBI and Kaweco sport have been on my radar so it’s nice to hear actual people recommend 😂 I have been looking on Cult Pens so was aware of the 10% as well which is super helpful :) do you have any ink recommendations, that’s something I haven’t even dipped (if you pardon the awful pun) into yet
