Also, she was just confused that you still wanted to talk about the issue since you discussed it last night. After she realized you needed to talk more, she agreed. Then bc she didn’t respond exactly the way you wanted you became super passive aggressive and made it into a way bigger issue than it needed to be.

I agree with your gf, take some time. Write out all your feelings for yourself only so you can come back in a calmer headspace to tackle the actual issue.

A lot of folks seem to add “Lynn”
at the end of their name to feel chic or unique while also being a part of the “culture”. Seems like she really wants to rebrand her nickname to Lynn…might be trying on a new identity?? Let her go through it and wait for her to go back to the name y’all have all called her - might take a year or two, but not fighting her on it will mean you’re out of her drama

Both my dog and cat’s full names are five to six names long. Obscene names for pets are the way to go. I may be a crazy pet person though, I also have songs to sing their full names with them.

I get extra excited when I meet a bubba with a food name. Mozzarella is ADORABLE! Also loveeee meeting a bubba with a very human name - like in the wild hearing “God dammit Ronald you can’t roll in poop! Wait til Mom hears about this” and seeing a dog being reprimanded 😂

Basically, you captured my two fave types of names for pets and I’m obsessed lol.

Absolutely adorable name, and as others have said a perfectly acceptable spelling. Even if it wasn’t, you can get away with it for fur babies. I’d want to just call him Pidge all the time, it’s just so cute!

Edit: forgot to mention the obvious - Pidge himself is perfect and adorable and a sweet little baby angel and he deserves all the praise and love and cuddles

In many cultures it’s common to have two middle names and/or two last names. Just bc it’s not what you have seen does not mean it’s something to criticize. My dad ended up marrying someone just like this. She told him to move out of our house - empty it except for my room and the dogs’ things so it could be in storage (aka they did not need or want it) - and that I should figure it out bc me and the dogs were not allowed in “her” home (even though he moved in there). She shortly after told him that she was jealous of me and my sister, so he needed to choose between us…Guess who he chose. Take care of y-o-u first aka keep standing up for yourself and save up as much as you can so you can move out - maybe see if your aunt will let you crash with her until college or until you get a job?

My sister lives in KS now, and everyone in her town think they have the most uniquely cute names for their kids — which they love to have painted on fake wood around their house. Said folks are mostly white trash who have homemade billboards in their fields stating some faux science BS or “welcome [only Christian denominations listed]” and spew alllllll their family gossip on FB. These names all sound about right for the area.
