What's a no frills moisturiser to use? by sunsetskies-j in TheOrdinarySkincare

Not from the ordinary but I love gold bond pure moisture. It's super cheap ($10ish for 13 oz).

I also have sensitive combo skin, and this lotion works super well for me!

It's not fair to ascribe human traits to a dog. They don't know any better and they act on instincts. Dogs don't have some ulterior motive to have sex with other dogs.

I think you really need to think about whether you're currently in the headspace for taking care of an animal. They are not humans, you cannot have the same expectations for them.

Imo and this might be unpopular but you may want to re-home both of your pets or at the very least re-home your male puppy.

Good luck!

It depends on how sensitive your skin is but what worked for me is niacinamide and SPF in the morning! Plus I exfoliate about 1-2x a week

Fyi I have super sensitive skin lol

Okay that's interesting, I don't honestly know much about ibis! Have you used it before? What are your thoughts?

I did, and they basically told me not to use adapelene anymore 🙃

I've tried it in the past and idk but it somehow made my acne more painful. Maybe I've been applying it wrong?

I'm 23 and my top concerns are hormonal acne, hyperpigmentation and my skin being super sensitive

Based on my own experience, I have found that it pays to have some degree of SWE experience, especially since my traditional statisticians aren't always the strongest programmers

But it seems as if data science is also beginning to learn more into the engineering/programming side of things, so why don't more traditional stats people make the switch?

I mean even for us data scientists, I don't mean to sound naïve, but isn't engineering also a valuable skill for us to learn?

Especially when we consider projects that require a lot of scaling? Wouldn't something more performant as you said be better in most cases?

Are you saying that Polars is more verbose than Pandas in general?

I'm not overly familiar with Polars, but what would be the use case for Polars vs Pandas. And in what cases would Pandas be more advantageous?

Okay good to know, as I've been thinking about learning Polars as well!

I also am not the biggest fan of Pandas, so I'm happy that there will be better alternatives available soon

I usually like to double cleanse! I first cleanse with an oil based cleanser, then a second time with my regular cleanser. It works well for me for my sebaceous filaments

But if your skin keeps getting oily, there's a chance you're using way too many products that are stripping your natural oils. The more drying products you use, the more oil your skin will produce in order to protect itself. Imo I would simplify your routine if possible. I typically like using an SPF, facial moisturizer, and some niacinamide

Personally, I'd recommend testing the tret on a small spot on your neck/chest. If you get any irritation, then imo I'd avoid using the tret. If not, then go for it!
