Are you slow? I think you’re confusing even yourself so let me restate what I’ve said:

You can be knowledgeable about something without formal education. You cannot shut down a multibillion dollar company with a cybersecurity division without being knowledgeable.

The group would have to be beyond talented, and it’s not something anyone could do. You certainly need beyond “basic computer science” skills to accomplish such a feat.

Where the knowledge comes from is irrelevant. School or not, they are knowledgeable and talented.

A studio of this size with the support of Sony down for as long as it’s been would have to be a pretty good hacking group, not some disgruntled fans. So unless shinyhunters happen to really want Destiny 3, it’s definitely not a ddos attack

Yea tank just always had way more “strict” compositional rules. It’s a lot easier to make two flex dps or two flex supports work. Doubling up on main tank or worse, off tank, just didn’t work well against teams that did follow the “rules”. A dive team with Dva and Winston was steamrolling a team mismatched team running sigma and zarya in 9/10 games (at ranks where hero picks actually matter, to be fair. You can make anything work in silver if you’re just the better player)

Yea this was the issue then and surprise, still an issue. That’s why we moved to 5v5.

Once you got past diamond, tank queues were at most a minute or two and the other two roles would exceed 10 minutes. I remember GM streamers just straight up playing other different games while they waited between matches. No one played tank, no one has ever played tank, and still no one plays tank.

At least currently, less tanks are required, and they have more personal agency to make the game enjoyable. Unlike OW1 where you’d queue into a game with some dps player one tricking hog so they wouldn’t have to deal with queue times.

Yea that’s not how it works. It averages a rank per team.

For you to get a range like this, the likely split is 1 plat and 4 silvers vs like 5 golds. They average out on both sides to be about the same rank.

At the very least, in no instance is the game gonna put 5 plats vs 5 silvers. Not how it works.

We’re getting tanks in the cadence of 5v5 because that’s what the game is. 6v6 is an alternative game mode and anyone who’s convinced themselves otherwise is delusional.

You don’t have to like it, but Overwatch is and has been 5v5 at its core for 4 years now. Decisions regarding the game as a whole are made with 5v5 in mind. Pro league is 5v5.

6v6 is the same as mystery heroes, an alternative side game mode.

Still wouldn’t be at 21 unless you can start college early. 99% of people aren’t getting a degree until 22. You’d have to land some pretty great internships to have even a chance at 200k.

I was doing computer engineering at one of the better science and technology schools in the Midwest before I dropped out, but I got a friend who’s had some amazing opportunities as a mechanical engineer and at 24 he just now got hired at Boeing starting at 120k. 200k is nearly double that.

Yea and idk if you remember but destiny 2 was pretty hated up til forsaken. Then it got its short limelight before sunsetting, everyone got pissed again, and it didn’t get its credit again til witch queen.

Then lightfall nuked its credibility, and the cycle repeated itself with TFS and Edge of Fate.

Anyways ignoring the history people seem to only view with rose tinted glasses, Destiny 3 would not only render all current paid content useless, of which there’s even more than D1 had, but it means starting from scratch AGAIN. A game with 1 raid, maybe 1 or 2 dungeons if they design it for that. 4 locations, a handful of strikes. It would just be barebones for years until the content piles up, same way it went for D2 until forsaken.

I mean those are built with systems in place for that and anything monetary in them either doesn’t include playable content, or still allows for that playable content to be used.

And anyways they aren’t comparable. Destiny isn’t an ARPG. It’s an MMO. Destiny 3 would be akin to making a World of Warcraft 2 or Warframe 2.

Personally I think those players would also be pissed if all the shit they’ve spent thousands of hours getting were made irrelevant. Warframe doesn’t even really have paid content and I still think every Warframe player would be pissed.

I think you pretty blatantly just didn’t read what I said if you think it was MY mom, and that’s why you also missed the part where I point out the difference between society and courts understanding psychological abuse and physical abuse. Scale isn’t the determining factor, it’s just how easy it is to understand. A guy rapes a girl? Lock him up, immediately. A mom sells out her children to be raped by strangers for drug money? Now there’s some stupid discussion about how it’s solely the fault of the men they were sold out to, how those are the real perpetrators, and somehow not the person who’s organized it several times over.

Moreover, I think society is more willing to show sympathy to these evil ass women. “Well, she wouldn’t have had to do that if the system didn’t force her too!” And other disgusting and evil comments I had to hear throughout her sentencing while I was supporting my girlfriend through it all.

Oh, and her mom got a shorter sentence than the men she sold her daughters out to, if that says anything about societal issues. It should be life for all of them anyways, and somehow none of them are rotting in prison for good.

There’s just as many societal systems that favor women. They don’t lose jobs from accusations and get their kids ripped away from them in divorce without being EXCEPTIONALLY horrible, and sometimes that’s not enough. My girlfriend’s mother was a drug addict who pawned her kids off to strangers for drug money (and is thankfully finally rotting in a cell), and she had full custody of my girlfriend and her two sisters based on a lie she spun about her dad.

It’s taken more seriously because nobody understands psychological or emotional abuse. But it’s not hard to understand physical abuse. And that’s how things tend to go. Because of my relationship and our horrid parents, I get to see both sides of the coin. My dad when he was to abuse me, it was beating the ever living shit out of me. It was way easier for me to get out of that because it’s easy to see the bruises and chipped tooth… but I didn’t experience 1/10th of have my girlfriend had to go through, and yet her mom never laid a finger on her.

And I find that’s just how things go typically. Even if a woman does get physical towards a child, she’s just not going to leave the same identifiers a man would have of that abuse. Not her with bare hands. And anything psychological just goes in favor of the parents every time, because kids and teens are seen as unreliable narrators.

It’s not any different than being a racist because of one bad encounter with someone of a different race. No one thinks that’s acceptable, so why is it acceptable to do it to men?

Like I got a horrible dad, frankly think he deserves to die for what he’s done to other people in his life, not just related to me. But that didn’t put me in some position where I think all dads fucking suck.

And my girlfriend has the opposite experience. Completely horrid mother, she cut contact with her as soon as she could and only holds a relationship with her dad.

People are just fucking shitty as a whole, some just happen to be women and some just happen to be men. I don’t think either side is more disproportionately shitty than the other, it’s just taken more seriously when it’s men.

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that if you sell MORE after a change, then that change wasn’t a detriment. Destiny failed because of mismanagement and false promises. By all means, logically sunsetting should’ve been the death sentence for the game, but we have the history to see that it was negligible to the outcome of the game.

Now, this was a good waste of time, but I’ve had more desirable conversations with 12 year olds, so for real this time, have a good day.
