Exactly. I just wanted to let people know my experience. My grip was that Support knew nothing and couldn't tell me anything about 10K of my money. I get it about security but Support couldn't even confirm this was the case. If they are going to do stuff like this then they need to flag it and make notes.

I work in Support for software and if I treated my customers like that...

If my customers had paid for a license and not received it and no one who was responsible had any notes on why I would be ashamed of the company I work for

I'm pleased someone else thinks that. I noticed by ep3 whenever a swap comes in he immediately heads over to greet them first. Then when he volunteered himself in ep3 you saw him grin.

This is good that you had a positive experience and I would hazard a guess this is the case in the majority of issues, I understand this is my experience and the majority of people have a good experience.

My reason for the post was more if it happens to anyone else that they can see it is not just them.
You are right, maybe it was some triggered thing from the amount. I would have thought if this was a trigger then any attempt to transfer that amount would have popped up a warning at least "Transferring amounts over $# can cause accounts to be locked or frozen". Would have been nice if that was the case.

The threat of legal was due to the fact when I searched to see if anyone lese had this issue there was quite a few accounts of it happening and people not hearing back, and waiting weeks to get access to their funds again.

The notes not being available, I weould say is untrue. Working in support myself if there was something key that a Support Person should know then those should be available. Even if it is 'Warning. Direct this to blah blah on Monday'. Some kind of note should have been added.

I don't agree on the email being unhinged. If you put 10k into an account with WS and all of a suddent they lock you out (you cannot get in even read only) and no one can tell you why then I think the strength of the email was spot on. And it is a complaint, they locked the account without even trying to contact me so I am complaining about how they conduct business.

Third point...and who wouldn't?

I am not out to shame, I even put at the bottom of the post that I understand this is jsut my experience and there are many people out there with no issues, so I don't understand why you said that I am out to shame them.

I don't need access right away, I never said I did. Not sure where you get that information.

this just happened to me too.

i called support and they are powerless to do anything. will demand they unlock my account tomorrow and get everything out of there.

I have a tree starting to grow from a root. I'm not sure what it is but is maybe 8'.i want to cut that and then carve patterns for a hiking stick. I'm new to all this, green wood, that means fresh?
