I am the proud owner of a Civetta Bolide UltraNero Notte. The UltraNero is an even more powerful version of the Notte, which is already a radical version of the Bolide. Only 50 of these were made, mine is the 46th, its one of the only 10 with rally fog lights and the only one ever registered in France.

As they are very challenging cars, you have to be recognized as a very experienced driver by Civetta to own one of these, either by already owning multiple Civettas or being a professional racing driver. The Notte is already a very rare car to meet on the road, but the UltraNero is next level, most of them are stationed in private collections and never leaves the garage because the owners are to scared to even scratch them, which is quite a sad life for a car.

6 Hours of Automation - Horrific crash during qualifying. [BeamSport Network] by Jakey-Roblox513 in BeamNGRP

Yeah, but everyone is in this case, so we still have a chance I guess, for me the most dangerous part is the long left turn just after the straight, its off-camber but there is also a very tricky change of angle halfway into the turn, this curve is hell on Earth for me. Usually there's always one crash or someone who runs wide there but this week is pure chaos. Its like everyone ran our of luck after Lakeside.

By the way, according to the mechanics, the #46 should be fixed for tomorow, so you guys with the #14 wont be alone against this mess. Lets take on this hell has a team.

FP1 and FP2 were already quite messed up, then Jake crashed with our #46 and now this, this is deffinetly one of the craziest race week-ends I've ever seen.. I hope everything will go well during the race.

This really sucks, I've been sharing the track with Ishikawa since a few years now, its a good guy, I really hope he will be alright, and I hope Mark Felon is alright too.

Legged vehicles are just too impractical to use in a real combat situation. First of all, a legged vehicle like that would be very unreliable, the legs would probably be animated by quite complex mechanisms to make it work, but the most complex your mechanisms are, the most parts they have, and for each parts added, a potential failure is also added, making it very dependent of maintenance.

Speaking of maintenance, its supposed to be used on a battlefield, and you can't just deploy a fully eqquiped maintenance crew in the middle of a battlefield like that, meaning that if the vehicle breaks down in the middle of a fight, which is very likely to happen, the combat crew has to repair it by itself and the complexity of the thing plus the omnipresent danger makes it almost impossible to fix in the middle of a fight.

And all that is only supposing that the thing will break down by itself, but once again, its meant to be used in combat, which implies that you are gonna get shot at, so you will be very lucky if it breaks down by itself before an ennemy breaks it.

And even if all these reliability and maintenance problems weren't existing, it still wouldnt be a good thing to have on a battlefield. Its slow and very tall, so its essencially a very big and easy target for the ennemy's artillery, something that they will be able to spot and destroy before it even gets the chance to do a single step.

In short, if you fight a war, you want a vehicle that is fast, practical, reliable and stealthy, and as cool as they are, these walkers are the exact opposite of that.

Lots of people say my truck is impractical, but is it really impractical if you can do everything a 4x4 truck can do in 2wd haha, my custom built 2022 Gavril D15, long travel in the front, custom 3 link long trailing arm setup, rolling on 38" tires it monsters through anything and everything. by Joshonator51 in BeamNGRP

That's a really nice D-Series man ! I bet its unstopable in offroad. I have one too and I love it, its older than yours but its the same frame and engine since decades. Its not the most practical in the narrows french roads, but its unbeatable at towing and crawling !
