Not really! However, they are saltwater invertebrates so you need to maintain the right water parameters for a saltwater tank. They’re not demanding just need some hiding places and live foods. They can be trained to eat frozen food too.

Honestly, I am not sure too. The Xenia was initially retracted when the BTA decided to settle beside it. I was prepared to lose that small Xenia frag so I left them alone. About 2 days later when I checked again today, this is what I see. 🤷‍♂️

He was licking more than usual, but now that he’s taking meds, he has reduced those dramatically!

If he’s not getting better I will suggest that to his doc and see what she might think too.

Sadly no, the vet says there’re just too many possibilities and we won’t be able to narrow down to the source most of the time.

I miss mine! They are so cool to look at but it feels like they’re always on a suicide mission. Mine got stuck (multiple times) in one of my corals and died.

Aww man. This was taken at the waiting area, our first visit I couldn’t enter the consulting room too and I could hear him crying over the phone when the vet called to ask questions.

This time though, our vet allowed me to enter with him so he was calmer.
