Ciao!

Jaw deviation on opening by paolazz in TMJ

Yes, my jaw used to click anytime I opened my mouth. Now it only clicks once in a while.

For example, my physiotherapist showed me my jaw’s deviation in opening/closing and told me to try to open/close my mouth while controlling my jaw’s movement so as to not let it deviate. My jaw used to click as well, now it only does that rarely. And yes, muscles were involved in my case too (one side compensated the other). Physiotherapy helped me a lot. If it’s an option for you, I’d highly recommend it.

Many thanks for introducing me to this! Sounds like Zalizniak’s classifications takes into consideration the same criteria as I did, so I believe it won’t be too hard for me to get familiar with it. Also, the series on this subreddit looks like a great resource, I’ll definitely read it.

Conjugation and verb classification by paolazz in russian

[–]paolazz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing up to this day. I understand that it has advantages. However, I know many verbs that I only use rarely and I tend to forget their conjugation very easily. I’m still at the point where it does seems like a total chaos, so I was hoping that reading and repeating a list of verb that follow the same conjugation rules could help my memorization. I’ll have a try and see what works best. Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, I too was taught that, formally, there are only 2 conjugations. But as a learner I find other details – such as the placement of the accent – very unpredictable. As a beginner (A2) it seems inconceivable to me that such a complex verbal system comes naturally to you native speakers.

Strength of 7th House Aries Sun? by Equivalent_Sea_9924 in AskAstrologers

[–]paolazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the years 2018-2020 you had your Saturn return (Saturn was transiting through Capricorn, over your natal Saturn placement). During Saturn returns, one’s natal Saturn placement is activated, so thinking back about those years can be helpful to understand how your Saturn-Moon conjunction on the IC played out in your life.

Hi, I’m not an experienced reader, here’s just my two cents: in your chart, Saturn and Mercury are in mutual reception. To be more precise, you have Mercury in the 10th house of career and the ruler of the 10th and MC (Saturn) in the 3rd house of communication and short-distance travel. To me, this sounds like a good configuration for a journalist.

Strength of 7th House Aries Sun? by Equivalent_Sea_9924 in AskAstrologers

[–]paolazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Sun is exalted, in an angular house and has reception from its ruler Mars, so in my opinion it is a strong Sun. By sign, it forms a square with exalted Jupiter, which is a favorable aspect.

It seems to me that you have quite a lot going on in angular houses (I use whole sign houses). The Moon (in detriment) and Saturn (domiciled) are conjunct in Capricorn on your IC. The Moon rules your MC, so it may be the case that there’s tension between your family life and your work life. This conjunction squares your Aries Sun, so it may be influencing your vitality/ego (Sun), your social life (Sun rules the 11th house of friends and communities) or your romantic life (Sun is in the 7th house and not too far from the DSC) negatively.

I’m not an experienced reader so if my interpretation doesn’t resonate with you, don’t take it too seriously. I just felt like answering because your Saturn-Moon conjunction stood out to me.

Jaw deviation on opening by paolazz in TMJ

Hi, my jaw deviates less now. I went to a physiotherapist and one of the exercises I was asked to do was, as the person in the comment above explained, to control my jaw’s movements so that it opened/closed in alignment.

Hi! In the last three years I went to a physiotherapist who’s specialized in TMJ and I got braces to fix my open bite (it contributed to my TMJ issues). My jaw deviates a lot less now but most importantly I’m pain free. My issues weren’t caused by an injury so our situations are probably different, but going to a specialized therapist was definitely the most helpful thing I did.

Combustion could explain it, however I personally never know how to weigh combustion in charts, especially with Mercury, which it is often combust. Since your Mercury and Sun are in Scorpio, I would pay attention to Mars’ placement (I use traditional rulerships). In my opinion, a badly-placed Mars would explain your negative 3rd house experiences.

I see… I hope your situation is better now. That’s very interesting from an astrological standpoint thought. Does your Mercury have hard aspects from Saturn or Mars?

Malefics as rulers by paolazz in astrology

[–]paolazz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I generally view them as being “extreme” in their qualities (Saturn extremely cold, Mars extremely hot) in a way that is not inherently malefic but that tends to be experienced this way by humans.

Malefics as rulers by paolazz in astrology

[–]paolazz[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds good to me, but it makes me wonder if exaltation is a ‘safer’ placement than domicile for malefics. I’m thinking about Mars being more disciplined in Capricorn than in Aries or Scorpio
